I'm trying to think of how loot is distributed across the NMs. There are 3 sub bosses, 5 bosses, 5 body pieces, 16 accessories and 3 shields. My guess is the following.

sub boss
1 shield
2 accessories

boss
1 body
2 accessories

Kei is confirmed to drop the Ammurapi Shield, but I can't speak for the other shields.

Ah. Well then I imagine the breakdown is just going to include shield as an accessory. So

sub boss
3 accessories

boss
1 scale
1 body
2 accessories

Rank 2 also has Escha/Reisen gear before HELMs and 130 or below Unity stuff, though, so I'm not sure it's the best metric. However, rank 2 also has the damn Kupo Shield, so it's just all over the place.

How'd you survive the Glassy boss's big move? Bard?
The One with Pain sync we lost too. We wiped then reraised then just diddn't attack it and Pain sync was landing for 3 damage.
We got Glassy Craver first try.

Could you go into specifics on how you defeated the Glassy Craver? Did you use brd, geo, or cor support? Did you use melee or magic to take it down? How did you get around the move not doing 2.4k damage to you when you get pulled in and rooted? Thanks in advance.

I defeated that guy last night and never got hit for 2.4k. Don't think it was over 1k at any point in time. The spam was really hard to keep up with and we very nearly wiped/timed out on it (this was with our melee smn pug who kept running in weak and dying over and over...) but not sure what you had equipped to be getting one shot by that move. It was just a slow process.

We did the Craver (and Kin) with RUN NIN MNK RDM BRD GEO. Vex+Addle takes care of Murk, Brume, and View Sync's Bind. Distract III overwrites and prevents Material Fend from working entirely. Carousel always comes after View Sync, so swap to DT sets or use Scherzo/Utsusemi/SS. Mages and such can just run away if Bind doesn't land since the range on Carousel is much shorter than View Sync. Wilt and such would definitely help too since both WS are physical.

Can't recall, but I think View Sync was 20' from the target rather than 25' or so from the user. I definitely recall not getting hit with it occasionally.

The Mog Bonanza page has 9 items for 134 Omen content (Glassy NMs), which includes 3 sub slot items, 3 necklaces, and 3 other accessories. Figure the Thinker drops Knobkierrie and Craver drops Anu Torque. I'm guessing the gear drops off the bosses are always usable by at least one job that uses their scales for upgrades, but whatever, we'll see what happens.

Think most people would agree that each boss has a body drop and that they'll be rare as ***though.

Thanks Ladyofhonor and Braden, I will let my group know about this.

You can solo the cards pretty easy, I did it on BLM a few minutes ago. Getting to floor 3 isn't terrible, and I'm starting to buy more into the accumulated goal = card theory. Each floor you complete adds one goal, so if you make it to floor 3 that means you have 2 each run at a minimum.

The number might be 5.

Yesterday I went on BST and got a card just as I opened up the portal to floor 2 (I had previously gone with another group, not sure on goals completed). Then beat floor 2 with no other objectives completed.

Today I went on BLM and managed 2 objectives on the first floor plus the clear. Then beat floor 2 with no other objectives completed, but I got the card as soon as portal was unlocked.

That would be 5 goals completed.

5 objectives per card fits my experiences perfectly:

On day 1 (solo), I got 5 objectives done (3 optional, 2 floor), and got a card after the fifth objective.
On day 2 (party), I got 3 objectives done (1 optional, 2 floor), and didn't get a card.
On day 3 (solo), I got 6 objectives done (4 optional, 2 floor), and got a card after the second objective.

So basically 5 floors + 5 extra objectives = 2 cards per run

+2/+3 would take you 30 days to get body complete. That's not that bad.

And it is still possible to get upgrades solo.

If I recall, carosol was at least 20' range? I remember getting hit on my mule at that range still.

I was hit anywhere under 25. At 25.1 I was not hit. I would say it has a range of 25.

Was on BLU for the Craver, just used White Wind and it was NP. As long as people didn't run away from WW or Curaga. Since it always happened after the other tp move.

4 Runs now and we only met Glassy Gorger. Each time our Female Elv PLD entered. Time to conspiracy theory? Will see if your streak continues tomorrow.

Please someone tell me we've discovered the difficulty selection option?

Because my mastered 119 BST pet getting torn to pieces in 20 seconds on every mob is not even funny. The content is basically undoable for me. Solo at least which is what I intend to do it as. The BST is the clue.

Yes, it's a totally crappy equipped BST. Hence why I am attempting to do the content in the first place. To upgrade my 119 AF from +1 to +2. Crazy huh?
Are they basically saying that only full Ambuscade equipped jobs are fit to enter? Because they can shove Ambuscade right where the sun don't shine. It's garbage. Just like Omen is so far.

I don't know what you are talking about, I solo to floor 3 pretty easily on BST and it is standard gear.

I'm using 119 AF gear. Fully upgraded Oboro weapon and a Skirmish Axe with poor augments on it. Because it keeps giving me poor augments on it whenever I try to upgrade it more.

BST neck from abby. BST waist thing. And the BST earring.

I can kill the mobs sure. But 1 accidental link trying to pull a mob over is straight fail at the run. I simply cannot take on 2 mobs at the same time. The trusts go down like they're just basically suiciding.

To be fair I've not tried doing the old familiar + unleash a bertha and try to take out that first field of flies + tigers.
But I'm assuming the fact that every mob is hitting the pet for 10% of it's HP per hit might make that a somewhat short run. The pet would be down 30 seconds after the first Tegmina I assume from previous goes.

you're quite clearly not anywhere near geared for the content, you should be farming escha or ambuscade gear beforehand, or at the very least some highly highly augmented skirmish gear

it's not SE's fault you want to skip from the easiest endgame straight to the newest without doing anything in between

At least that makes a lot more sense than the previous "I don't know what you are talking about, I solo to floor 3 pretty easily on BST and it is standard gear..." reply.

You actually addressed my problem.

I'm categorically NOT prepared to do anything ambuscade or escha related. They are both totally crap game systems in my opinion. I like the solo stuff and that's all.

You should be able to solo Escha stuff, starting with Zi'tah, with what you have. Ambuscade isn't exactly hard to solo either, particularly on low difficulty settings (although people will hate you for doing it).

Anu Torque comes from Glassy Craver. BoG wilt made it an easy fight. Also more info on Kyou-

Holy is AoE below 75%
Comet is AoE below 50% (or maybe also 75%)

We got item lockout (can't remember the name of the status effect) for maybe 30~60 seconds following Unfaltering Bravado (only at 25% and 10% though.)

Cleared with GEO GEO SCH NIN

Also I'm wondering if there is some trick for Glassy Thinker related to weapon types. It was constantly using Hand to Hand weaponskills on me between its other weaponskills. It seems impractical unless you use Migawari or Scherzo/Earthen Armor. It is only 20' though so you can avoid it with range.

Just cleared Kin pretty easily as:
RUN WHM GEO BRD WAR WAR
had 1 WAR Die but easy to arise/recover.

3minute terrorize was frustrating but manageable, really straight forward just don't ws during TP moves.

Dropped Scale / Utu Grip.

Also I should note that it did back to back Pain Sync and the second one one shot me because no Migawari. Metering damage between them seems unreliable (time is also an issue.)

Third day in a row that we got the Gorger. The first day we smoked him and had no issues at all, setup being: RUN GEO GEO WHM BLU BRD.
The past two days he just one shots with Spirit Absorption for anywhere between 1600 and 2200. We tried dispelling him and even with all of his absorbed buffs gone, he still does that TP move for over 2000 on the regular.

so, earlier today after doing some Glazemanes, I got some Beryllium and Hepatizon Ores. That got me to wondering if they might put those new materials in the higher level unity coffers. Has anyone spammed those fights since the update?

We spammed Mephitas and Orcfelltrap last night, didn't see any new items.

EDIT: They are lower level unity though.
