Kei does not re-use Fullers at 75% and 50% when he uses Benediction and reaches those HP levels again.

Awesome, good to know about this.

Confirming Mojo's suspicions, Thinker definitely only registers damage for Pain Sync while he's charging it. Tons of HP for something that regulates the amount of time you can swing at it.

Does DT gear work? I'm guessing so because my first time I took 20k on everyone and 19k on GEO, who was probably idle in a little bit of DT.

Wonder if a non-haste capped DD that watches when they WS could do a slow and steady win without EA/Scherzo...

At least with six people, it has a lot of HP. DT does work though, I was taking significantly less damage than the Sam in the pt by swapping

It's magic damage. The charge time is rediculously high for something that punishes you horrendously for getting 1 good auto-attack in as it readies it.

So people were talking about person who enters deciding the end boss, what about the midboss? The three times blue has jumped us up we have seen Thinker, the one time Run took us up it was Carver. Anecdotal, just would like seeing past Thinker.

So far, when I've brought my group up on RUN it has been Carver and when the COR brought us up it has been Thinker. Not enough evidence at all but it is possible that "choosing a path" for floors prior to the final boss might have something to do with jobs that interact with the ingress.

Took my group in every time on DRK, all jobs remained the same except a NIN -> RNG change and it's been Thinker > Thinker > Craver > Thinker > Craver. The guy who changed jobs, changed after the 3rd run.

Pain Sync is Breath damage for sure. Shell does nothing, PDT gear does nothing.

Valiance tested that it's not Dark-based, so no idea on the element.

Still trying to figure out how card farming works.

On the 4th floor we didn't get our 2nd card until we completed the floor objective (kill 24 sweetwater) which was one of the last things we had killed. We then got a 3rd card for defeating the final boss, which was only a handful of kills later. So that's not a new "Omens" count, but it was consecutive objectives as well. Maybe both work but objectives still give Omens?

The 1 time it caught us had to be a Rudra's Storm lol. We had no issues turning to completely ignore Pain Sync until that point. It just happened at a very... very bad time.

Some JP in my secondary LS says 5 objectives gets you a card, 5 cleared floors gets you a card, and entering Omen counts as a "clear". Didn't specify which clear it counts towards, but I'd assume it counts toward the floor clear total.

I got a card on a job I have never entered on before after entering and 1 objective clear. Do they cross entries and job changes?

Also killed Kyou so that's 3/5 down... should have the other two dead within a couple of days. Maybe killing all5 unlocks the 6th Caturae in the dat files? And that one drops Bodies? (No bodies yet on any server afaik) either that, or the drop rate is D.ring Tartarus Mail status

Also I'd rank in terms of difficulty, for our group (we're stacked with mages and we did Kei first because of that (he was easy-ish for us but after trying some of the others, he might actually be of the tougher ones) but we've taken prolly about 15 people cycling through runs and killing a few of the cats 2-3 times):

Craver(hard)--->Kei(moderate)-->Thinker(***) (it sucks when u go mages for Kei clear, expect tank to die a lot)--->Kyou (last 10% can be rough)------>Kin(start with this one, it's Zzz status for very good groups, manageable for not as experienced groups)--->gorger (don't let him copy too much crap)

Haven't done the other 2 yet (Gin, Fu) but they don't seem to bad from what u guys have said on forums

There's only the 5 Caturae, so shitty drop rate is the answer.

Also the drop rate on double scales is disappointingly high.

Gin is really, really easy. Haven't heard any updated info on Fu, but I'm just farming Gin for now because it's easy and my group works for it (also want to see if ammo drops from it).

Yea we've seen double scales quite a few times, it's good i guess, but rather see more gear drops.

Word of warning to tanks, RUN tanks in particular.

Elemental Szforzo will not prevent damage from Dancing Fullers.

Strongly suggest Max HP Boost equipment for when you see Fullers coming as it's damage seems totally static at 2500 - 5000 etc...

This set will give a RUN about 3200 HP, put it on when Kei approaches 75%, 50%, 25% and 10%.
ItemSet 348306

Kei does not re-use Fullers at 75% and 50% when he uses Benediction and reaches those HP levels again.

I'm wondering if Dancing Fullers is physical and Unfaltering Bravado is magical. Might be interesting to test Pyric Bulwark and Barrier Tusk on these abilities and the prospect of BLU tanking.

If it's Physical, capped -DT and a well-timed Fan Dance would almost negate the damage. Taking 5% of what you'd normally take would be pretty damn noticable. Unfortunately the CD is probably too long to use it more than... well, if it takes more than 3 minutes to get it to reuse the move, it might work.

Unless it would bypass that for some reason.

Yes we had same experience - prior omen progress carries over when you job change and go back in - so you can get a card right away on a different job.

The hell ?
How !? ><

we kept dying and doing 2-5 K DMG only

Does anybody have a guide or something on how to beat the NM on Floor 3 with Low man ?

Please be nice about it, did this x2 and not sure what we are doing wrong but we all have Master and all got nice Gear yet we kept on dying

Setup # 1

BLU (Almace Final 119) BLU WHM GEO (w/o Idris) + Trust (PLD and RDM)

Setup # 2 (ALL Master)

BLU PLD (Aegis/Ochain) GEO (Idris) WHM RDM BLM

We have try
CDC > CDC = Light > Thunder / Fire MB
Requiestcat > CDC = Darkness > Ice MB

and no big DMG at all , so not sure whats up.

Thanks in Advance guys for the advice to be given.

It mostly depends on good connections, luck, and timing. If you can make sure nobody WSs, casts, or crits as the TP move starts, and turns away, you can take minimal damage with Pain Sync. An unfortunately timed WS can be a wipe though (bar scherzo/EA).

It's important to fight Glassy Thinker with your lock-on off so you can instantly turn when you see a TP move. Melees that swing fast (BLU, NIN, THF etc) might be very bad jobs to use on it whereas jobs with higher weapon delay (WAR, DRK, DRG etc) might be better choices. Jobs that can control when they get TP like COR and RNG might also be very good jobs for this.

Here is a strategy I'm going to try next time our group encounters it.

RUN/WHM/GEO/COR/DRK/WAR
Absolutely no Haste.
Tactician's Roll & Samurai Roll.
Absorb-TP from the DRK whenever it is up.
DRK pops Soul Enslavement at 25%, saps all it's TP for 30s while everyone unloads onto it.

Erilaz set bonus can absorb it, and nullifying damage gear (Founder's, Srivatsa, etc) can stop it too. Also, Arcane Circle.

Anyway, we've been thinking of using WKR weapons for the objectives. Just have to remember to actually go get them.

Why not just have Smn in the mix over 1 of the DD choices and Mew its Tp away?
