Welp, my mayor (Bill DeBlasio) is currently tied up in a corruption scandal and already has been trending towards the recycle bin. I wouldn't be surprised if he got primaried come reelection.
God, New York politicians can't help but end up in scandals. We just sent Dean Skelos away for 5 years and Sheldon Silver got 12 years all for taking bribes.

I thought they are as rare as Republicans in CA.
There are a decent amount of Republicans in the Sacramento area if I recall correctly. Northern CA is like an entirely differently world compared to Southern.
