The mobs aren't recorded on FFXIDB from what I can see.
Lame. Wonder why? Geas Fete screw up the collection info somehow, maybe?

Oldest issue that immediately comes to mind is that outside pops for Delve II NMs don't have spawn locations recorded. Not entirely surprised that Escha has no data whatsoever.
Oh, and all the various "internal server error" issues with some older mobs. Fenrir.Nightfyre said: » XIDB hasn't been fully functional for a while. That's probably a fixable problem, but I haven't got access to that to investigate (and no time even if I did :\) I've no doubt that it is, but judging from the sidebar whoever's running XIDB hasn't really touched it in over a year. That may be (part of?) the root problem for Escha content, while I'm less sure of the reasons behind the older NM and internal server error issues I mentioned above.

Also props to Nightfyre for removing the silly Strength/Weakness crap from the Wiki. I had been meaning to ask Spciy if I could when I first saw it on COR page last week. Leviathan.Comeatmebro

I was actually talking with arcon about a ffxidb fix last week and it was about ready for testing. Think he got sidetracked when the update came out, but I would expect it to be up relatively soon.
One thing I've noticed is that while the main "Escha" page lists everything and anything I might need about all 3 zones, the individual zone pages are missing tons of info. The Reisenjima page, for example, is missing all the HELM NMs, and even the 3 gobs aren't listed. The Echa-Ru'Aun page is missing all the AAs and gods. And none of these pages, or even the individual monster pages, actually list the items needed to get their grisly tokens. Even their grisley token pages don't say. Again, it seems the only place anything is actually listed is the main Escha page. Which is great if your search actually starts there, but if you start by actually looking up AA HM, for example, you're gonna have a frustrating tour around the wiki.
100 props to ye
Awesome, thanks for the updates!
Asura.Floppyseconds said: » Sylph.Jeanpaul said: » 100 props to ye There is however info I don't have. If people know monster levels for general things in Escha that works. I just added the pots in Ru'Aun because when Carrot and I leveled and I hit EM on them I knew their minimum level then stayed till there were no more EMs. Other mobs and things though I guess can take the zitah approach of "lv100+" and things, but that seems lame to me thus it is blank. I am sure the Aerns and things are around level 115ish or something, but.. Hey, can't I just change the average level of my ilvl gear to get their real level? I suppose that might work actually? I assume that changes the check function to check me as a level 119 against them based on average level of gear? I never cared about the levels until I was leveling up a lower level job. Then I went "that be useful right now..." for picking targets. I'm not sure on the accuracy, but I thought battlemod did this? An example would be Apex mobs in Ra'kaznar checking in at level 138. Since you separated all the mobs on the Geas Fete list into the tier sections, you can probably get rid of the original list now. Asura.Floppyseconds said: » OH SNAP! (Upload log); 15:07 . . Carrotchan (Talk | contribs) uploaded File:Affi.jpg I've been browsing the FFXIclopedia and BG Wiki, and I'm noticing a lot of pages that FFXIpedia has info on and BG Wiki doesn't. I was gathering Trusts the other day, for example, and FFXIpedia had alot of Trust info that BG didn't.
I guess my question is, would you like for me to point these discrepancies out as I find them (I'm a returning player, so I'll be looking up stuff ALOT), or nah? I am not satisfied with the trust page right now and I do want to expand it. I am leaning towards making individual trust pages similar to xiclopedia. This way all the data isnt crammed into the same page and we can hopefully eliminate the collapsing categories. |
