Anyway, Asura 9:45PM EST Thursday 993 on 576 @ 9:04PM CST on Bahamut.
Probably at least 100 of those are AFK mules. Moved from Siren to Asura about 3 months ago, best decision ever made if you just want to see lots of other people playing again.
Low population server could have its benefits with the current update but I'd rather be where the people are. Shiva server 9:30pm CST has 531 online.
Cerberus 10.00 GMT ... 383 ppl /cry

Fenrir: 951 (as of 13:30 GMT/UTC)
Fenrir has big JP population and it's 10pm Friday there, so I'm guessing that's the reason it's that high.
Ragnarok: 1067 on 10:52pm JST.
1488 on Odin 10:55 PM JST/8:55AM EST
Holy crap wtf.
712 people on Slyph at 13:57 GMT Normal Average here is about 280~380 on more American times. Sylph has an extremely high Japanese Population, so take that with a grain. had around 420 last night @midnight est. have seen spikes on weekends over 800 but more often than not 600 to 700 as a high
!! 7:17 MST, 1120 peoples on Bahamut
Bismarck: 822 @ 9:25AM EST - Friday

Right now a considerable number of NM's are being done with 6-9 people (in my LS). It's just so much easier in many cases to control the amount of HP the mobs have, and so on. That of course presents challenges in a linkshell the size of mine, but we rotate clears and do content in multiple groups quite often. Offline

807 99.9% Japanese or AFK though !
Phoenix has a huge Japanese population I'd say over 50% 11:00 AM EST Asura.Kingnobody said: » Unless multiple threads pop up every week, this is a valid topic IMO. To reitterate what i said about Sylph,
server now at 370 people at 19:17 GMT Just showing this is a predominantly Japanese server. The issue of low population servers has turned into a funnel for English speaking players to transfer to Asura over the last year or so, which is unfortunate because it only tells the dev team, or what little remains of it, that we'll gladly reward them with an extra $18 if we're unhappy with our current server's population numbers. Part of me enjoys watching this unfold from a social and business point of view. The gamer in me wants the big populations back, FFXI is an MMORPG after all.
To answer the question, 347 on Cerberus at this moment, most of whom are in town or idling bazaars. It usually hovers between 400 and 500 during NA peak hours. Thinking of reactivating and moving to a populated server that has NA playtime.
Asura? Been on ODIN for 7 years and it's mainly JP. Not so much NA playtime as English speaking.
I swear ODIN is 90% JP now. Offline

This is why the won't merge servers unless the numbers get to the point where it is like 100 people on a server during all times. Thinking about the 18 bucks to transfer that alone is a steady source of income for them. Yea. Just looking for any info in regards to English speaking population. It appears Asura but only based on a few posts here and there. # of people is small on most servers and I believe JP make up a majority population. Just really looking to mess around and play as a farewell to my favorite MMO. May even start a new char and level just for the heck of it.

Remember to cut most of these numbers in half due to d.boxes and afk bazaars..
