Unrelated to Alan's death, but to three prior in the art world: God Finalizes Supergroup Lineup Quote: HEAVEN – Following the untimely death of David Bowie, God, the almighty, all-knowing deity and Creator of Heaven and Earth, has announced the final lineup of his much-anticipated supergroup, Rock Gods. Wow,Ramsey did score the night prior.
(If you have no idea what I'm talking about, Google "Ramsey curse". I believe Seha mentioned it before). I'd buy the ***out of their albums. And the live shows? Bowie+Lemmy? That's bucket list territory (or, given the setting, post-bucket list). Bowie? A metal bassist? The Almighty on guitar? I mean, Lemmy has some reservations about Jehova's shredding skills and I won't question his ability to *** talent, but it's friggin' GOD. I'm sure he's a quick learner. And I know it's not mentioned, but Clarence Clemons died a spell back and given the crazy nature of this band it wouldn't surprise me to hear a few of his sax solos figured it. ***would be good, yo. The second this was announced, he cashed in and bought the first ticket. Oh ***, that was unexpected.
Gutted.... RIP

The second this was announced, he cashed in and bought the first ticket. About 10 minutes after you posted this someone on my timeline shared a picture of Rickman and the words "I'm going to a very exclusive Bowie concert." I've seen that quote before and it did, in fact, move me a bit.
Alan Rickman being in any movie was reason enough to watch it. I'd definitely put Hans Gruber as my favorite of his performances, though he totally dominates the entire movie Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (I'd probably turn the movie off after he kicks it were it not for Morgan Freeman lobbing a scimitar at an old lady and Sean Connery popping up at the last second).
The Sheriff of Nottingham said: That's it then. Cancel the kitchen scraps for lepers and orphans. No more merciful beheadings. And call off Christmas! Anyway, one of my favorite things to do when a famous person I like dies is to see what little stories and tributes the people who worked with them share. That, and more movie night. Wasn't much of a HP fan but of what I've watched, Rickman's portrayal of Snape was more memorable than anyone else, when someone says "Harry Potter" first thing I think of is Harry, then Snape and his slow, menacing way of speaking.
At least It wasn't a spoon.
