Another major blow to the artistic community this week.
And this one, to add insult to injury, an amazing actor who will be most remembered for mother-*** Harry Potter. Ugh. You might not like HP cause the books cater more to children but those were really high quality fantasy movies.

How horrible to be most remembered for portraying one of the most important characters in one of the most successful series of books which were transformed into one of the largest film franchises ever. I know I would surely hate to have that fate... Who now will lambaste Potter's foolishness in potions class?
*shrug*
My opinions are just that. I just think it's a shame that the internet will be mourning the loss of "Snape," and not the actor himself. Just reporting what I've already seen from countless sources. It's a major loss for the artistic community and I think the way it's being reported does the actor's memory a disservice is all. It's pretty well known that he loved the series (especially the books), so I think he's fine with it. A fair point, I suppose.
Perhaps I'm superimposing too much of my own feelings on the series in this case, but he's not the first I've said this about in a grand sense either, so, apologies. Sorry. I'm having a bad morning, just saw this news and got assaulted with the HP references in regard to it. Either way, RIP Mr. Rickman. Your presence was immediately recognizable, unique, and will be missed. Well, sure. He'll always be Hans Gruber to me.
Well, Hans and the Metatron. I heard this morning that he had died, surrounded by his family and friends, as he fell from Nakatomi Plaza in slow motion.
But on a more serious note. Gonna miss him. Seriously, *** cancer and *** 2016. So far, David Bowie David Margulies Alan Rickman Angus Scrimm Wayne Rogers Jason Wingreen Natalie Cole Otis Clay All died since January 1st. at this rate, every great Character Actor and Musician is going to be gone by 2017. And started calculating how close my parents are to it and got upset. ._.; Noo! Why?!
wellp 2016 is already starting to suck *** right off the damn bat.
