Vomit.

I think you have a fantastical, heroic view of war because you haven't been acquainted with first-hand accounts of war on both sides. Nor, have you experienced former combatants talk over a beer. Not only those but, you had to hear the gritty details of your only reason for existence and be reminded of it multiple times throughout your life. And is sure as *** wasn't because the American soldiers showed up to save the day, despite what you would think.

Quite the opposite, four of my great grandfathers fought overseas. I was lucky enough to know two of them. Three of my grandfathers fought overseas, I've heard all of their story's and two are still alive. Many, many, of my uncle's and cousins have been overseas. My brother-in-law has been to Iraq once and Afghanistan three times. I've lost many relatives to war. If it wasn't for a massive loan I took out a few months before 9/11 I most likely would have been off to war with a number of my high school friends.

They fought and fight for this country and its citizens. So yes, I do have a fantastical, heroic view of war and the men and women who fight it, so we can have the freedom and liberty's of today.

Yes, it is. However, it is equally foolish to not praise the soldiers that keep you safe and free.

Still, you don't have a conceptual idea of both sides. You can post as many as you want, but it won't matter. I know there's one thing for the proliferation of my family that happened, that I have no doubt that is happening right now with Syrian refugees, that I am thankful for, because of the fact that I don't have a romanticized idea of war. Go ahead. To any mainland-European, you look silly.

It's not just Germans who had to deal with these realities and what they had to do for the sake of their families. There's lessons all of Europe has built upon that the US hasn't in the wake of WWII because of the intimacy of it.

EDIT: Ravael, don't be a dumbass, please.

Wanna be a little less vague? And I already said I don't have a romanticized idea of war. I have respect for the people and my family that fight/fought and died for the United States of America.

I'm not sure, because it would be a source of mockery from cowards like you who wouldn't do the same for their family.

You're idealistic, ignorant and naive then.

Not even ashamed if the familial rumors are true. It's a lot more than some men would do if history tells us anything.

Just acquainting you with a dark reality of war that you don't take into consideration. That's how naive you are.

You have not done anything of the sort, all you've done is call names and use vague dialogue for a pitiful retort.

Well, there's a lot more to do with it than just population. Population is just the most obvious factor.

You keep saying population is a factor, but you've never said why.

Basic logic? Would something that works for a town of 100 people necessarily work for the entire planet? If you're looking for a specific answer, ask a specific question.

What specifically about population makes the education and healthcare systems of other countries impossible here? You want specifics, yet you refuse to address the subject with any granularity. Let's take it down to the 100 population level. 100 people in the town, say 80% pay taxes, 100% benefit. Take it up to a thousand, now 800 pay taxes, 1000 benefit. What changed besides the raw values?

And yes, I'm aware of how ratios work as values increase.

War doesn't only kill those who fight and the ones who suffer the bombings, it brings along a swarm of poverty and misery. This continent has seen enough of that so let's stop cheering for WW3 like it's going to be liberating.

Germany, trying to take over Europe once again, this time financially.

I wouldn't call having to bail out a lot if Europe, taking over.
Germany being such a strong economy has been targeted by the banks in a brilliant move. By knitting all economies together, the weaker unequal countries go bust, then to stop the system going down the stronger countries are forced to take on debt (fear mongering and political pressure) to hold the EU together. Like a domino effect. The EU was vital and instrumental for this.
All central banks are private, they are the ones doing the takeover. But the globalisation of corporations and private monetary institutes is inevitable in a capitalist world.
You only need to look at the new transatlantic trade deals to see the changing balance of power over sovereignty.
