Is Su5 path C good for Siren?
After around 3000 stones (mixed ones, only ~1200 were pellucid) the best I could obtain was the following, with Taupe stones
BPD+9 Pet: Macc+4 STR+9 Mab+22 This should be decent for Flaming Crush. Certainly better than my Keraunos (BPD+9, Crit/DA+4, Att/Ratt+20). Not sure it beats Espiritus for Magical BPs though. 13 less mab, 6 more BPD (and lotsa more macc) Yeah that's a very good augment, and without a doubt beats Espiritus by a good margin for pure magical BPs. I'd say you achieved your goal. :) Congrats!
Yeah It's not amazing if you have Nirvana. Those are the numbers I got on Wild Rabbits while comparing Draumstafir and Nirvana if people are curious, I didn't count crit hits obviously.
Roundhouse Draumstafir: 14100~14700 Draumstafir proc: 17400~17700 Nirvana: 15700~16300 Hysteric Assault (first hit) Draumstafir: 14700~15000 Draumstafir proc: 18600~18900 Nirvana: 16500~16800 Tornado II Draumstafir: 17424 Draumstafir proc: 21128 Grioavolr: 22770 I had a little hope for Wind's Blessing but Chance of doubling "Blood Pact" status +25% doesn't work with it. There been any precise tests of Hysteric"s properties yet?

I think su5 path c might be interesting for Wind's Blessing. Maybe it could double the potency of that magic shield. Still i dont think that buff has many uses. Even -150 magic damage isnt usually much. It would be good for mobs with enspell hitting very fast, but only example of such fight, that I know about, would be Cait Sith htmb.

Interesting. Wind's Blessing from Siren will overwrite Shining Ruby from Carbuncle, it won't stack. If you use Shining Ruby after Blessing it says no effect.
Oh I was wondering why that was happening.
It doesn't stack with Perfect Defense either. Wind's Blessing, Shining Ruby, PD and One For All share the same buff spot.

If the potency of Ward is based on stat modifier (Wind's Blessing), its kinda logical it would work for it. That's how the staff works even though it has no effect on Wind's Blessing.
Sonic Buffet can dispel 2 buffs at once, it seems to be completely random (50/50 chance for 1 or 2 dispels), it's not based on the damage dealt or Siren's TP. The NM Teles also randomly removes 1~2 buffs with this move. Offline

Starting a first Mythic and one of my characters I'm debating Nirvana. That character is geared very well already but my group (main/alts) only has one character with Summoner. So, my question is:
Is there anything currently considered "endgame" I can down with just 1 BIS Summoner (AC or not) with a COR, GEO, RUN, RDM (distract/dia3) or is anything that would require wanting a SMN to burn down to avoid TP/death moves going to have too much HP for just 1 SMN (Aeonic T3/Helm, Ambuscade, Omen, new HTBF seem to be out of the question, etc)? I play 99% of my time by myself and no one on my server does Aeonics so I'm trying to find a reason to get a Nirvana over say a Carn. I'd use the Carn more for that character but if a Nirvana could help me kill things I currently can't it would be more useful than a fulltime marcato HM. SMNS power really lies in abusing it enmass. 1 smn (no nirvana required) can do everything except WoC Kirin and 5/7 Reisenjima helms. (and a really good smn can down kirin and teles now apparently)
You make a nirvana to join other nirvanas in shouts, that's honestly the only reason to do it. If you have zero intention of doing that, money is better spent on the carn. It doesn't really open up any doors, outside of the ones that lead to parties with other smns. Well if one just play mostly solo and dont do alliance content there isnt much point on carn, imo (if just looking on practical terms though)

Actually they are all killable with 1 SMN.This includes WoC and Zerde but in the case of Schah it's only possible once the Mantri has spawned and the Bhatas/Ashvas are defeated. I should probably not post this. That's impressive to get albumen woc and schah, don't think those are possible as a single player party with 1 smn though
Some of those mustve been pure luck hitting a wildcard right We already knew it was overpowered and needs a nerf, no need to be shy about posting SS of things people already are doing for a while now.
Yes it all needs a nerf and I'm a high Summoner, so my opinion would hurt me too.
They keep going forward with random BP nerfs or ways to circumvent it, when they should just put restrictions on conduit like higher MP usage to lower the overall amount of BPs. It is the same band aids they were trying with Alexander and how everyone PD'd everything to death in a zerg. |
