There's really only one party in the US; the republicans.
The Dems never really rally together against anything. They're just liberal in their thought process and progressive in their values, Which is commendable. But they're so progressive and tolerant that they can't come together and put a plug in the GOP's butt.
\

On the complete opposite side are the republicans; blindly towing the party line - "us vs them".

Are we doomed to see another ME WAR just because Obama is black?

lolwhat? The Democrats are the only party that is actually a working party, the GOP is so divided on every issue that they can't pass a single law without Democrat support.

No to mention the "spine-less-ness" vic. This is actually pretty awesome that someone on the GOP side has the balls to do what they were elected to do, stop Obama.

From the outside it seems like the Republicans are the only ones with any ability to rally.

Then again, I take my GOP news from FOX news, so I am most likely suffering from American politics right-wing retard syndrome.

So, despite claiming otherwise repeatedly, the actual purpose of the GOP is to disrupt the operation of the government... I'm leaning more toward treason at this point.

Your politics are hardly a well formed political ideology, it's just a lot of volcanic emotion and prepackaged anti-Obama rhetoric.

I'm focused on the idea that even proponents openly admit their representatives have the sole purpose of disrupting the function of and doing harm to our government. That is almost exactly the definition of treason.

You just said that some dude was elected to impede the executive office - that can be understood to read "obstruct" political process... which I see a lot of since Obama became president from angry republicans.

Oh right, Obama is the government I forgot.

He is the nationally elected executive, and arguably a better representation of the will of the nation than congress, but that's irrelevant. Those legislators have spent several sessions actively seeking the disruption of virtually every function of government. And, people on their side have constantly denied that they were doing it, they have repeatedly pointed the finger at Obama or Reid for not being willing to negotiate. Your post is the first time I've seen any neo-con admit that their primary purpose isn't the prosperity of the nation, but rather simply to attempt to undermine or stop anything Obama tries to do.

You don't realize how much you just admitted.

Ok then tell me what its about?
I didn't see this kind of ruckus when Cheney and Bush basically stripped the population of half of its liberties and were caught lying about the reasons to go to war all the while making themselves and their cronies filthy rich.

Obama arrives and says he wants every american able to get medical attention and all the red states lose their mind..

the republican media keeps hounding him for years for a birth certificate and a Poll recently showed that 70% of republicans think Obama is a muslim even though he said he was Christian...

So if its not about race, then really what is it about?

First - what nuclear power? You said "Increase".. they don't have Nuclear power. That's what all the negotiations YOUR Executive branch is leading is about.

Second - Official CIA and Mossad reports as well as the international nuclear agency concluded that Iran is NOT after nuclear military capability.

How stupid does one have to be to be a republican. Seriously it seems like the right are so detached from reality that they are free of thought. What a nice and pleasant existence that must be - to just spurt out whatever emotion it is you're feeling at the time and never hold yourself accountable or reflect critically on what it is you actually think. Are they even self-aware? I'm having serious doubts at this point.

ah, another emo libtard.

Just because they don't have nuclear weapons doesn't mean they don't have nuclear power. They have nuclear materials that they have amassed way more than they need at the 20% purity level (5% purity is for power plants, 20% is for medical purposes). They also possess a ton of centrifuges for enriching that is beyond what is necessary. While this isn't a nuclear weapon and you need 90% purity to make one, they still have nuclear materials that could be used to make a dirty bomb.

So how about you take your own words and stop being so detached from reality and ill informed. Also, I'm not a GOPer.

And I'm not a liberal. I don't fit anywhere in the political spectrum you are accustomed to.

Quote:

They're don't have nuclear anything working at the moment. Perhaps you wan't to backpedal a bit and use another word instead of power.

By the way, I'm from the UAE and we're not exactly buddy buddy with Iran. In fact, we actually have two islands currently occupied by Iran. I'm also a Sunni Muslim. We're not exactly pro-Iranian nuclear ambitions - we have more at stake than Israel if Iran gets Nuclear military capability. Definitely more than the US.
We're not beating the drums of war because that would FORCE Iran into a corner and result in it acquiring Nuclear weapons, which would LITERALLY spell doom for us here in the Arabian Gulf. Iran is using it as a bargaining chip. Everyone with any intelligence realizes this. But IDIOTs like the inbred uninformed right in the US are trying to force everyone into a war for many reasons and ambitions by a great deal of many nuts.

Noone is racist towards Obama. A view point I like to suggest to people is this. Both sides are progressive, hell the Democrats are by definition Progressive(there are GENERALLY 2 types of Democrats**Liberal and Progressive) and (there are generally 2 types of Republican**Conservative and Libertarian) Now there are mixes on both sides, you can have conservative democrats and you can have progressive republicans.

There is no reason in this day and age to be passing hundreds and hundreds of laws, I would be ok with maybe 200 or less QUALITY laws being passed.
Let's say democrats are at 1 on a scale of 1-100 and republicans are 100(numbers dont mean anything, dont read into it) This country was designed to reach agreements through debate and compromise. The problem with both sides being progressive is alot more of the congress is int he 30-70 range. So instead of having a FEW QUALITY having to work at a ideological range of 100 to come to a compromise, this discussion is now reduced to an ideological range of 40. So we get a lot more laws, but they are alot less argued upon.

Pleebo said this Don't you have to be wearing a teabag-adorned tricorne to make statements like that in all seriousness.

If that is a hit on Tea Party members, well I will loud and proud state that I support them.
