scroll up on the page in the ninja guide you posted in last and you would see the following:

Yeah that's why I edited thinking you maximized Kannagi then just swapped wpns around while I maximized Nagi doing same.
Quote:
My only nit-picks are -0% def on tojil isn't realistic.
fixed -15% now
Quote:
Samurai Roll might be realistic for you, and it does indeed cater a little more towards Nagi, but It's not been my experience with other DD's present. 99% of the time it's chaos + fighters.
SAM roll works for both mythics and non-Mythics while WAR roll diminishes Mythic AM3
Quote:
Also, just curious, but you are adding +50% ODD to Kannagi in the first tab right?
30% cuz I rarely ever had AM3 up on Kannagi

If you're using Fighters roll over SAM roll then I guess that adds up cuz you're killing off Mythic AM3 with it
while at same time boosting Kannagi overall DPS.

Gonna give 29% Fighters roll rq and see if it improves thier DPS over stp+70 SAM roll.

Fighters Roll +29% over Samuai Roll +70
Code
[Set DPS]
Nagi — 1339.728
Izuna — 1387.484
Kannagi — 1369.787
Tancho+1 — 1366.762
Raimitsukane — 1336.823
Kikoku — 1314.602

vs SAM roll
Code
[Set DPS]
Nagi — 1452.620
Izuna — 1439.580
Kannagi — 1419.104
Tanco+1 — 1417.504
Raimitsukane — 1390.760
Kikoku — 1368.702

Fighters no beuno! Chaos+SAM rolls onry unless need accuracy then Hunters+SAM roll imo.
Fighters doesn't work for anyone.

Currently, by the numbers, it is 6th best, behind other, far easier and cheaper options. In the future, however, we can assume SE will continue to buff RMEs, to maintain them, for the most part, as top choices.

Diference of 13 dps (nagi to izuna) should be like the diference between using windbuffet nq and windbuffet +1...

At the cost of 40 windbuffets +1!

Shouldn't Kikoku be ahead of Raimitsukane when you factor the ODD proc?
Altough it's certainly underneath Nagi, Kannagi, perfect augment Izuna and likely Tancho+1 as well.

I'd just get Izuna and aug it then wait til next ilvl increase to continue with Kikoku imo or stick w/ Tancho+1 which is cheapest path til then.

Kikoku is a great weapon, but it's no different than all the other relics. Every relic has a 119 weapon, from delve or w/e, that beats it/just as good/almost beats it. The only exception I can think of is Annihilator because Coronarch is amazing.

If you want Kikoku, then build it and love every swing with it. My relics will always be in my main hand despite whatever new weapons come out.

It widely varies by what target you're fighting, and your buffs. Kikoku actually does pretty well, and I would certainly use it over other non-RME options if it was me.

Here's a simple example. All weapons paired with OAT Taikogane.
Code
Target: Kamihr Raaz
Food & Buffs: RCB, Haste II, March 2, Min 5. (that's it...)

Izuna - 1398
Kikoku - 1380
Tancho+1 - 1357
Raimitsukane - 1343

Kannagi AM3 - 1491
Kannagi AM1 - 1425

Nagi AM3 - 1461

Izuna has DMG+10 Attack +20 Accuracy +20 WSD + 5%. You could spend as much as making a Kikoku chasing after those stats!

Yup, getting about the same numbers. Good to see we are all more of less on the same page.

OP: Make what you want man! Making the right choice is personal opinion, I made one and love mine to death. I am sure once I finish up my Nagi I will love it just as much too!

The one thing that still irritates me about relic and mythic katanas is we only get one. When we do the AF weapon quest we get two katanas. We should when we make Kikoku, Nagi, and Kannagi. Hell, even the original pic from SE has us dual wielding Nagis.

My gripe with Nagi is that it's missing the chain. Kusarigama is an amazing weapon but they broke it!

Why do you assume Nagi is a kusarigama instead of a regular kama?

A less informed player would say liberator is nagi. And liberator a random polearm. And tizona a banana.

Cause I think a kama would be more of a samurai thing as they fought with field tools.

Chain weapons were more of a ninja thing, like kyoketsu-shoge too (which I'd wager was a more popular weapon than the kusarigama anyway), ninja used weapons for strategic purposes and the kama alone is less useful than a jitte or sai for blocking. What I mean is, yes ninja used kama, but I don't think it deserves to be iconic compared to many other weapons, such as the kusarigama itself.

My only gripe is that SE should stop screwing around, and just let the single hand RME's work in both hands to full effect.
Get Kikoku's attack and ODD offhand, allow you access to the WS, ect.
What that's "NOT BALRANCED!" /sarcasm, yeah SE... and Rudra's Storm is just fine? /sigh. :/

SE should allow DW jobs AM on both hands so you could offhand emp and main mythic. With OAT available already as is, this would not destroy or break any balance whatsoever. OAT stll wins so I don't see the problem at all.
GUILTY... didn't continue reading >< Bahtbaht is right

Linos Singing skill +7 occasionally casts instantly 3% All songs+4 would like to have a word with you; Ghorn is far less valuable than it used to be.
Hmmm unless something changed in the update we just had Linos only goes to +3 songs. The ss that were posted months ago were faked.
I saw a couple screenshots go through here at least, but no idea if they were faked or not. My bad if so lol

My Linos i got with nq stones after update:
