Any High Level Smithers Out There?

Hi,

I am now a level 30 ssmither and was wondering if this craft is profitable at higher levels? I like this craft but i want to make sure that taking it to 100+3 is a good way to make some gil.

hmm im also level 30 but i cant see much profit besides desynth, maybe i have to look harder, relying on HQ on haub isnt profitable enough i heard.

It's worth it. Gotta HQ stuff ofcourse but it's worth it.

It, just like ALL other crafts WILL make you gil. However, it will not make you rich fast, but if your patient and don't over sell the market there is good gils to be made.
Honestly if you have the base capitol i would do Tanning (LC). This has some of the best profits in the game right now.

hmmm never thought about LC as being very profitable (havent looked intoat all). Might have to check it out

i got 100 smithing and subs 60 great craft love it make huge amounts of gil but i have to say one thing it takes gil to make gil and need to b ok with losing once in a while

I wonder what you other smithers are making. all the 100smithers i know think it's ***. i left mine at 90 cuz i also thought it was ***. i made better money leveling leather to 70 and going with unique hybrid crafts, rather than taking it all the way to 100.

Ya really... as 97Smith I can't seem to make any money.

Imperial Wootz Ingots are ~100k+ profit per ingot on Garuda. I synth Haubs a lot, but granted that's lucky dependant. Gone 0/15 one new moon and 4/9 the next. Not stable but you make money if averages are on your side.

Lesser synths can make stable income too, like Federation Knifes and Kukris.

I also fluked a Cursed Haub -1 awile ago which got me sorted for life pretty much. But that's 1% chance and you could blow millions on it, although you'll get a huge amount on the -1. Other misc. cursed items can sell okay if you HQ, some are 10% but the NQ's don't sell for ***.

With patience you can spam the sort of synths that don't make huge profits but will always make profit. There's LOADS of them, have a browse through the recipe lists.

Oops, nearly missed the DRK JSE too. The HQ's of that sell very nice, and the NQ isn't much of a loss. Onyx Cuisses are one of my favourite money makers!
