You could buy an unlocked iPhone pretty cheap on ebay or craigs list, then just use it to connect to local wifi signals. A friend of mine does that to check email on the road.

Or a hospital or work from home. And its good enough to get paid while you go to school for the career you really want. Or start taking classes towards your associates.
