Playername cannot perform that action. I don't know if I somehow made it worse, but Attainment hasn't been working in Abyssea since the last update. I pushed an update that will fix GoV/FoV, I think, and now I'm going to investigate Abyssea to make sure Dominion Ops are working so I will also check this out.
Mug (and Despoil) are both annoying, weird, and have long recast times. I'll go see what I can do though. The Boost-STR thing is intended. That's part of what battlemod does. You can turn off the chat log modification if you want by flipping Condensebattle (I think it will work). The grammar isn't really something I can do anything about. I could make a basic switch for things like a/an, but figuring out when to insert "the", using the verb form of debuffs, and so on is forever going to be out of my reach (barring a manual resources update). Spikes (and counters, and Retaliations) somehow bypassing filters is a known issue that I'm fighting. "You cannot perform this action" is a resources issue that should be fixed now. I need to stop using photobucket.
Blue magic skillchains show up now, thanks byrth :) Regarding testing long recast abilities: doesn't COR on test server have that new 1-hour ability, recastable every 10s that resets JAs?
Yeah, but the test server is not compatible with some v4 plugin and I've been too lazy to figure out which one.
Salvage: troll's Enervation "Playername receives defence down." message doesn't get compressed into single line.
Magic bursting debuff (ie paralyze) shows "Magic Burst!" message, but bursting nuke doesn't. So I did a little testing. Looks like the 379 error pops up everytime someone outside of party/alliance perfoms an action, attacks, is attacked by something.
You need to log out and log back in.
I'll add magic bursts to the list. Enervation may be fixed, or I may have broken a whole new class of weapon skills. Phoenix.Innina

Hi! I'm not sure if this is covered somewhere, please forgive me if it is. My Toggle (addtochat) text from Motentens XML within Battlemod seem to be getting filtered. I can't figure out why. I don't have the customized filters setup, so its just loading the default (everything is turned to false). Is there a bug or am I missing something?
Thanks for reading! I like how Battlemod spits out the damage/heal numbers immediately when the action is completed instead of after the animation is done.
Not sure if that was done on purpose or not but it's pretty nice. Battlemod blocks a long list of chat colors (you can find it towards the top of battlemod.lua). You just need to pick a different color for add_to_chat and it will work again.

[Treat Staff II] not displayed Sorry for the rapid postings but now I'm seeing
.../event_action.lua:210: attempt to index local 'prepstr' (a nil value). In a prov run at the moment and my console is lighting up with that like a christmas tree lol. edit: I just noticed there were a few "152: attempt to concatenate local 'number' (a nil value)" in there too. Phoenix.Innina

You need to /shutdown and log and back in. None of the messages you're reporting match up with my copy of battlemod, probably because your version of battlemod is old. As such, those problems have quite possibly already been fixed and it's a big time waster to hunt for them. When I think about it, had someone report that in Legion yesterday too. (The barrage thing)
I've restarted everything and I have been downloading bm2 every few hours to make sure im using the most up to date version and am still getting railed with the 210 error while im doing VW. Maybe it has to do with the filters? I've tried to filter out alliance/party stuff.
without battlemod it just shows up as a typical ranged attack ya? sounds weird to me

I had some weird things blocked in an Abbysea Altep book burn last night. The kill tracking wasn't showing up (ex. 2/5 monsters killed), and when I tried to attack a monster claimed by someone else, the error message that it was already claimed wasn't showing up either.

It may not be showing all damage from job abilities. Only reason I suggest this due to kparser putting barrage, shield bash, and a few others in the Job Ability category, seperately from normal melee and ranged damage, as well as weapon skill damage.
