Meeble - Coalition Humus on Furrow, you'll get a fat burrow worm. Trade it to your moogle.
Qiqirn - Coalition Chum on Coastal Net, you'll get a rusty coin. Trade it to your moogle.
Mithra - Super Sardine Ball on Pond, idk what item you get but trade it to the moogle.

Somebody on BG is keeping track of the non-obvious stuff you can plant:

Two-leaf Mandragora Buds and Treant Bulbs work as seeds. Humus from Goobbues works as fertilizer.

They stay for an initial week after you trade the item to get them. You can then hire them for 10k a week.

| | Fujito: Mog Gardens August Update
Hello everyone!
I hope you've been enjoying your Mog Gardens so far. In this post, I want to talk about what we plan to implement in the August version update.
Moogle Menu Updates
An item will be added to the Moogle menu which will provide more information about the "Twinkle Star." The stars are what the GPS crystal has been accumulating each new day you enter the Mog Garden, and they will be exchangeable for useful items and services.
Like what, specifically?
- Mog Teleport Service
This will be a one-way teleport to your Mog House in San d'Oria, Bastok, or Windurst. Moogle magic will allow you to move through the hidden Moogle passages.
- Assistant Employment Extension
In exchange for stars, you can higher an assistant for one week instead of paying 10,000 gil.
- Obtaining Fertilizers
You will be able to obtain the fertilizers that you can also buy from coalitions for stars instead of Bayld.
- Gil Savings Box
We have prepared a gil savings box by request. You can put gil into the box and see how much gil you've accumulated. You can put gil into savings either via a numeric input when speaking, or by trading directly. What will happen when you save up a lot of gil...?
- Crab Invitation
You can increase the amount of friends on the beach.
Additional content is scheduled to be added in future version updates.
Addition of Ranks 4 and 5
The rank limit on the collection points in the Garden will be raised to 5. The limits will be raised gradually from more articles which you'll be able to acquire.
Support Item Availability
This list is not complete, but we will be adding items that belong to th following categories. Additionally, some of these affect the entire party, but we haven't talked about special behavior.
- Fireworks
- Food
- Costumes
- Movement speed items
- Crystal Clusters
The available items will be consumable or enchanted-type items.
New Plants
We will increase the amount of items that can be planted in the furrows. This time, we're looking into supporting roots-type items, so please try planting new things.
It feels like a lot of stuff! We're also adjusting items available from the moogle as well as employment extension of the assistant via items, and we hope you enjoy all of these new features on the day of the version update.
Also, just to touch on this, while we don't have an immediate response yet, we are still looking into various methods for increasing inventory capacity, so we'll follow up on that.

I'm super curious, too. I like the idea, though. It's not important, but it's cool for people like me who have to save for stuff. I suppose whatever surprise that's associated with it will benefit the people with piles of gil already, but oh well.

Or you'll put all your money in the box, lose it all and get a message called "Welcome to Square Enix! We lost $130+ million, your 3,200 gil is a small loss."
But here's hoping it's something worthwhile

| | The Mog Garden Info Is Here!
Hello!
I wanted to talk a little about the Ranch and the Mog Garden. While most of this information has been verified, please note that there is a chance that some aspects may be changed.
What is the Mog Garden?
The Mog Garden is located on a small island in the Adoulin archipelago, owned by the government and on loan to those who have been recognized as pioneers. Pioneers are free to use or take away any resources obtained from the area. Simply put, you can do whatever you want with resources obtained on the island.
What resources can be found there?
Resources that can be found on the island are as follows:
Beautiful Beaches
The gentle tides carry in all sorts of things. Of course, you can also enjoy fishing here. Afraid of getting a sunburn? No worries, we've put some beach umbrellas down to take care of that! 8)
Harvestable Forests
Here, you can take on activities like logging and harvesting. You may even be able to gather some unique types of wood and plants from Ulbuka. You'll need the traditional items for logging and harvesting, but the Moogles have prepared some for you in advance!
The Springs
In the freshwater fountain, you can also enjoy fishing. Fishing nets have been set up on the beach and at the springs. You'll have a good feeling about this one!
Ore Veins
You can also perform "mining" here. The islands of the Adoulin archipelago are a famous treasure trove of minerals. The traditional pickaxe will be required for mining here, but the Moogle is ready for that!
Moogle Fields
In the center of the island, you can find fertile soil where you can grow things after planting seeds. Unlike with "gardening," you won't need to care for the plants here and there's no fear of them withering on these fields. Go ahead and plant as many seeds as you want!
With these activities you can gather materials, plants, and a variety of fish from the available resources. Depending on the coalition rank, you may get even more favorable results from the Mog Garden.
So... what happened to the ranch?
Okay, so we're planning that now... but I need a little more time. We're not going in a direction with growth as complex as chocobo breeding. For monster breeding, we want it set so that monsters can be harvested repeatedly (obtaining items they would normally drop like fur or meat) over a certain period of time. We'll talk about this some more as soon as we have the specs figured out.
As described above, in the Mog Garden, you can find all sorts of materials. Unlike the mog house, the layout in the Mog Garden won't be customizable. Instead, there will be some other unique aspects to the Mog Garden such as enhancements to resources and expansions to the Garden, or maybe even some unexpected visitors or objects that drift in on the shore.
I'll have more info for you at a later date.
'Til then!

| | Information on Mog Gardens
Hello,
I'd like to give a simple explanation of Mog Gardens, which is previously what we referenced as "Back on the Ranch" at VanaFest 2012. Most of this information has been confirmed at the current point in time, but there might be a possibility changes do occur, and we appreciate your understanding.
What's a Mog Garden?
A Mog Garden is a small island floating in the Adoulin archipelago, and the property rights are granted by the Adoulin government to those deemed true pioneers. This allows the pioneers to freely utilize and extract all of the resources it has to offer. To put it simply, the government has said that pioneers are free to do as they please with the things they procure on the island.
What kind of resources are there?
The below resources points have been found on the islands:
Beautiful beaches
Various things are carried by the gently rolling waves. Of course, you can fish as well. Not a fan catching some sun rays? Well, we've thought of that, and have prepared a beach umbrella!
Trees and thick vegetation
You can harvest on your island and you might even find some strange logs or plants native to Ulbuka. Originally, special items were needed for harvesting, but here, your moogle will provide what you need!
Springs
There are hints of fish in this crystal clear water, and fishing if possible here as well. There are nets set up at both the coast and the spring, so you might just pull in some big fish!
Bare mineral deposits
You'll be able to mine at these locations. The islands of the Adoulin archipelago are famous for the cornucopia of minerals. While you originally needed a pick axe for mining, once again, your moogle will provide what you need.
Moogle field
In the center of the island there is nutrient-rich soil, and something is sure to grow if you plant a seed here. Different from gardening, there is no need to worry about withering here! Try and plant a variety of seeds.
Through the above, it will be possible to obtain different materials, plants, and marine products from these resources. Depending on the coalition ranks, you can also obtain things that will be beneficial to your Mog Garden.
So wait, it's not a farm?
Don't you worry, that plan is still alive. However, we'd like some time for that. What we are currently thinking for animal raising is instead of having complex growth elements like chocobo raising, we'd like to making it possible to raise a monster and then harvest the items from each one repeatedly at a set interval. Once we finalize the details for this I will let you all know.
Just as described above, there will be chances to obtain a variety of different materials from your Mog Garden. Different from your Mog House, however, there are no layout customization options for your Mog Garden. Instead, you will be able to expand resource points and develop your Mog Garden. There might just be a story that starts from an unexpected visitor or wreckage that washes up.
I’ll be back to let you know details at a later time.
Until then! | |

| | Translation below. No new info, really, just a bunch of images.
-----
Fujito: Mog Gardens
Hello!
We've updated the Mog Gardens graphics so I've taken some screenshots.
★ The Ship
You'll get to the Mog Gardens by riding on this ship. Check out the colorful fish under the water!
★ The Grove
From the grove, you can perform harvesting and logging. The first trees and bushes you'll find are small, but as the rank increases and additional trees are planted, it will become a fully-grown grove as in the image.
★ The Quarry
This is a mining site. You can dig in here with your pickaxes. As the rank increases, the area will develop by having more and more of the rocks removed, exposing the ore veins beneath.
★ Moogle Field
Here, the crops you plant will grow in a field packed with Moogle secrets. While at first there will be fewer rows on which you can plant, as the Moogle Magic increases, you'll be able to use more than one row as in the image. Other mysterious crops may grow on the field; there may even be some that can grow without seeds....
★ The Coast
Here's the beach umbrella that you saw in the original post.
And when the sun goes down....
The lamp on the table gently lights the area....
Oh, one other thing. The Mog Gardens island itself is not very large. It's roughly the space of three mog houses.
Also, this area will have its own dedicated background music. If you have the Seekers of Adoulin soundtrack, please listen to Track 8:Mog Resort. The faint sounds of female vocals will draw you to the island.
At this time, we still have about 20% left to complete. We're still planning on releasing this summer, but it might take a bit longer.
When we have more information to share or show, I'll post it here.

| | Fujito: The Mog Ranch
So busy... finally time for a break!
My eyes are very tired and i think I'm getting a headache... *sigh*
However, we've finally gotten the ranch looking good today, so at least that's a relief! (^_^)
That's why while we work today, we're drinking this:
Drowning cat!
Cute, isn't it?
When I was watching Twitter the other day, I saw this info come through by chance, and I ordered it immediately. It came from a shop in Nagano. I ordered a box set of them. Since it contained two cats, I get to drown another one!
*Meow meow*
All right, all right, I'll give you a quick glance at the Mog Garden.
Whaaaa?
We just wanted to give you a little taste for now, but we'll release more information soon!
Fujito: Follow Ups (Part 1)
Should you plant the cat?
I did not want to post a photo of a decapitated head, but it is possible by design. However, I will not.
What if a Colibri comes and steals the seeds and flies away? (>_<)
Colibri would not have the stamina to make it here because it is pretty far east of the main continent.
Inspired by the drowning cat, I think you should maybe sell drowning chocobos or drowning moogles at the food court at Vana'fest.
Hmmm...drowning moogle... haha. I wonder if the cooks have placed their orders yet.
This looks even more like the Enix game Cosmo Crash (Astronoka) than I expected....
Although it may seem outrageous since I'm an employee, I've never played that game.
Fujito: Follow Ups (Part 2)
I will definitely buy the drowning moogle when you release it. Also, please make the Mandragoras scream when you pull them from the ground.
I don't think we've gotten that far in production yet...should they walk around too?
I'd like to have a whole cat in Vana'diel. Not just the severed head, but the whole thing. Maybe that would be too surreal. Anyway, on the farm, wouldn't the mandragora try to use Fatal Scream when you pull them? I mean, they aren't pink, but it's still scary....
I wonder if there's a game that lets you grow severed heads.
You've finally shown us the factory where mandragoras are produced! Is this Fujito's secret mass-production facility? You should be ashamed.
No, this isn't the Fujito Coalition [[JP: FJT Works]]
Will Umbrils show up from underground?!
That would be awful! Now I don't want to plant too much....
I'm suddenly really tempted to buy those marshmallows that you bought before... you should work together with them to make Moogle marshmallows. I would totally buy those if they sold them!
They might be expensive though! I'll get in touch with our promotions person and find out....
Fujito: Follow Ups (Part 3)
This work is very tiring!
I wanted to post a couple follow-ups on the Mog Gardens post.
Are the mandragoras are just growing out of thin air?
The pictures were to give you an idea about the monster graphics. We aren't really showing the configuration and so on, so there will be more info coming.
There isn't any battle to harvest the monsters?
No, there is not. The monsters will grow similarly to a garden because the area is a location like the Mog House, so there will be no battling. (The original production basis was to battle the monsters.)
