Update / add more Nexus Cape zones
Potafurnace working in areas where it would actually be useful... sky being a prime example. But I think they already said they can't do it coz of the usual system limitations that would somehow produce ridiculous side effects if they were to do it.
How about you finish our new avatar that was promised 4 months ago and is still behind schedule before you worry about fixing things that aren't currently an issue even?
Best I've seen so far is adding magian trials for Thief's Knife, and increasing the scale for mission earrings/rings. More subligar.
Green panties. Daggers with a flowery handle. Blocks of cheese (I suppose even lanolin) to fit as a helm. Sausage armor. Candy cane leggings. Cupcake shoes. Bacon on the arms. (Okay, the bacon thing may have been a little silly.) Scaled storyline mission items would be nice. +5 AGI on Suppanomimi, makes something other than Suppa useful, for example. Purple panties with flowers. Customizable armor. Palette swaps so it may render .dat swaps useless. You know, some variety to the already palette swapped gear. Leather gear is now... /echo fix rdm 30,000 alexandrite is still broken in comparison to ancient currency AND the extra steps a mythic requires. because of the way augments on corvine/supernal/transitory/lenitive/foreboding abjuration sets are done, regular quality gear is not worth anything compared to HQ gears. a synergy recipe that used the nq base to craft an hq would put more usable gear into the market. additionally, the original vision for the the augment system wasn't terrible. It was however mired down by insistence on balance and randomness. a couple steps would solve all the problems and breath new life into that system. 1: add synergy recipes to add slots to existing equipment, which people actually use. none of the equipment which was able to recieve slots in the last iteration was worth using, even with ideal augments. 2: simplify the augment stones. strike the 'vs birds' from 'vs birds: attack+10". Allowing stones with preset augments to be purchased for points from the hunt registries would be a decent idea as well. for example, one might purchase some dux scale mail. the next step would be to add slots to it using a synergy synth. an nq synth adds one slot, hq synth adds 2 slots. for a dux scale mail +1 however, an nq synth adds 2 slots, and an hq adds 3 slots. assuming we used the +1 with 3 slots, we then choose the hunt for an accuracy evolith from the hunt registry. it sends us to behemoths dominion, where we pop and kill a behemoth yielding 100 hunt points, and a chest with an evolith of acc ranging from 4-10. after a couple kills, return to town, and choose a double attack augment. the hunt registry sends you to carpenters landing, where a new silaglith nm awaits, dropping chests with evoliths ranging from double attack +1 - +5%. finally we return to town and using the hunt points at the hunt registry, purchase an evolith of store TP+3-7. finally a final synergy synth to set the accuracy 9, double attack+3%, and store TP+5 into the dux scale mail +1. The main reason people hated augments the way they were previously done is the randomness of it all. other augment systems in other games that afford you control are wildly successful and integral parts of those games. Subligar. Resist elements. Focus! i would love to see coin purses and heavy metal bags be some what consistant like 15-25 heavy metals every time etc
What I'd love is a sort of "transmute" option where we can wear some of our favorite models of armor and weapons but keep stats of more relevant and powerful equipment.
Jujitsu Gi has the COOLEST looking model in my opinion, and it's bound to just the gi itself and Yinyang, which sadly is valid only in town these days. I think XIV is doing this for 2.0, Vanity slots I think it's called. It's a nice thing to have in XI if it's possible, the gear sets looks great together. Abys need a real engame, seriously put HQ version with drops to upgrade empy armors to +3 or +4 version. or a complete new name set.

Yep. And the more I think about it, the less I would even want an upgraded Thief's Knife. If you're trying to farm quickly (say, Dynamis currency), a baseline TH6 is a miniscule difference from TH7 and you're better off just using 2x DD daggers anyway. If you're REALLY trying to maximize TH (land kings, sky/sea NMs, some particular NM with an item you're after, etc,), you actually want your THFs using WEAKER weapons to draw the fight out while wearing full TH gear to get upgrade procs. A stronger TH+ weapon would actually be counterproductive here! The inventory space idea beat out all of your guys' ideas, sorry. I would seriously give up my first born for more inventory space. ._.

Dat agi bonus! lol But in all seriousness, I would like to see some adjustment to some relics. A lot of folks complain that Gungnir is just utter shite. That needs to be adjusted, as quite a few relic weapons do have their uses, in terms of dmg:delay in addition to their respective acc/att bonuses.

It is still on an old engine, and they aren't going to drop all of the money to redesign the whole damn thing, when the game is nearly 11 yrs old now! They would only lose, lots of money, if they actually did that. Make animators go in the sub slot.

They would only lose, lots of money, if they actually did that. ![]() This is what is possible with at least PS2 losing support, not to mention that crystals don't take up any space, a retainer (kinda like a mule but on a NPC) can hold things for you and in ARR when you set gear it won't take up personal inventory space anymore..get the chills just thinking about it now. Oh and almost EVERYTHING stacks to 99! More INVENTORY!!! Give synergy command lines.
ie..... /syncmd thwack <t> Also... A bazaar system like FFXIV so mules are not crowding zones and I can go search for what I want inside a special zone for that ***when I want it. |
