Efficient PDT Axe Acquisition

Looking to finally getting around to do these axes, but the horrible draw back of having to do the quests twice. Is there somesort of effcient path that allows the upgrade of both at once by staggering quests, or just a faster way in general, or do I just need to suck it up?

Whats the time it takes to usually go through a whole upgrade of one axe?

since youl spend most the time in the necropolis with camps next to each other ya can do em both just with one behind the other, <other trials wont take long to do twice>. took me bout a couple hours to get to the geode trial on one from start so shouldnt take ya too long.

You pretty much just have to suck it up. They go fast though, you should be able to finish in two afternoons of casual mob fisting.

yeah, I agree, doing 2 trials at once is wonderful, just do them right behind each other. You do 2x the work in most cases in 1/2 the time. It worked out well for the evade path trials I've done.

The bomb and arcana stage can be done simultaneously killing the djinn mobs in Eldieme(S). That's about as efficient as it gets.

Its actually not that bad at all, I was really like uugghhhh don't wanna do that, but I got them both in 3 days. Was easy

To add on to what others said, finish on fish in Mount Zhayolm. It went quickly, with very regular earth weather... I did both axes in a weekend.

Since I am currently doing the same, I can just give you some input as to how you can get started. I personally leveled one axe all the way up until the arcana trial (1332); that honestly didn't take all that long. The trial immediately before that one (344) is bombs, so you can do those side by side. So level one up to 1332 and then start on another and get it up to 344 and then you can carry on doing them side by side for a while- you'll be spending a lot of time in Mt. Z and Eldime [S]. Its really up to you how close together you level the axes in the earlier trials but I liked doing them a little more separately so that I wouldn't get burnt out on an area with crap weather.

Yea, do the PDT axes, then try doing two STR Astolfos. You will notice a huge difference in the time it takes :)

Wow, yeah, this was a joke, got to the geode stages in no time. Made a huge difference with the whole 5 points per kill during weather bonus. Wish that was around when I did BLM.
