It's not that hard, just put all jobs on tarutaru sash and leave it at that. Bst/dnc gets TH2, Job/thf gets TH3, Ranger and Thf get higher than that. That meets their hierarchy rules.

Why would the TH sash up the pet's TH? ^_^

The way I understand it though, is BST would not get TH2... their pet would have TH1, and the BST would have TH1. Anyone correct me if I am wrong!

That way any job can get access to pets and ready? Now everyone can hold 2 mobs in dynamis at once!
Dunno about you but my DNC could hold 5-6 EP mobs easy, my BLU could hold well as many are in range of Dream Flower. Hell my friend's THF/DNC can hold 4-5 mobs.

The game client still has to read the code to display the message. Pet: Treasure Hunter+ would have it's own code just like every other stat.
Pet TH isn't displayed though why would it need to be sent to us at all?

between this guy not understanding why the dat mined list of possible augs and pet:TH not being on the list is relevant (and then saying he farms EP mobs still lol), and the guy comparing Virelai to bst charm...

Sorry didn't know BST pet having TH3 was known until SE confirmed it. I wasn't aware that the information about falcorr/yuly have TH3 was accessible.

As to using EP over DC, what BST is soloing DC mobs? They're either gimping their damage by using 2 PDT axes to keep pet alive while holding multiples or they're using full DA/STR causing them to burn through more food equating reduced profits. In either case they're slowing down overall kill speed which also eats into profits.

Well, I'm not saying it was always the case but, you did taunt and insult a lot of people, bragging about how awesome you were as you were flee hacking all around Dynamis.

You did act like a child on many occasions when I saw you in Dynamis - Qufim, so you don't deserve any sympathy.

I personally find that most BST's are rude and inconsiderate of other players around them.

They constantly pull the majority of enemies in the area slowing other players down, pulling enemies near other players so they have to run to a different location, then following them so other players have to constantly move around them. Instead of sweeping the area with players around them, like just about everyone else does, they feel the need to take everything for themselves.

Just because we are competing against each other for claims does not excuse them of being inconsiderate and lack respect for everyone around them. I have met maybe 10-12 BST's that tried to work with other players instead of pushing them away.

We have dozens of opportunities every dynamis run to steal your blinking targets jumping from your pet fighting and what you're fighting, but the majority of players will not steal from you. BST's pull half the camp yet most players won't pull off of you. It's a complete lack of respect for players around you, yet you all still ask why players hate BST's in dynamis.

It's one of the things that really ruined the new dynamis for me and I honestly would of enjoyed it much more if BST's respected their competition a bit more instead of constantly trying to be in the way of others. It really doesn't make it any fun for me to constantly avoid BST in dynamis, and it upsets me that I even have to avoid a single job to begin with.
In my past experiences, sometimes BSTs weren't pulling on purpose multiple mobs. As the way of Dynamis is, anything and EVERYTHING links, and BST (unlike SMN) pets switch targets at will. Some people were complete *** in that regard, but at least from my personal runs, I wouldn't go out of my way to steal other peoples mobs

Well let me ask the people who are so down on BST some questions.

What do you want from us? What do you want us to be? We don't seem fit in your party structures, and you seem to be perfectly happy with that. You don't want us to be able to solo for our gear/currency effectively either. It seems that a lot of people would prefer that BST have no place at all. Do you guys feel the same about other jobs as well? Why or why not?

I'm not one to get into the "entitlement" type of debate, but I'm someone who's first job to 75 was Beastmaster, and still to this day, have stories among stories from years and years ago about players doing the exact opposite to myself and several of my friends.

Now, I agree, the so called, "bandwagon" Beastmasters that burned it up in Aby don't have a single clue how much of a big ***was taken on the job for years and years, let alone actually know how to play it, can be irritating. I have very little respect for players that talk like they deserve to control everything because they're playing Beastmaster.

When I'm in Dynamis, which isn't very often at the moment, I try my best to be open to people around me. However, if someone wants to play this so called, "claim game" I'm not one to step down. You want to act like a ***? Then be prepared to have some heat coming your way.

I think Tikal said it best, throw your frustration at the player, not every single Beastmaster you see.

The job itself is still pretty rewarding. I really wish Square would figure out some way to bring the job back to the way it use to be played, where you actually had to use CHARM and LEAVE!

Let's be honest though, Beastmaster has always been hated.

*** in my camp.
*** in Dynamis.

Been that way FOREVER!

You guys keep bringing up BST bullying people out of camps as if the issue isn't the overall lack of camps in Dynamis on the whole rather than the one job holding mobs that you can easily peel off them if its yellow and they're being a ***.

Instead of nerfs that do nothing than limit playstyles and punish players for enjoying a job they may/may not like how about improvements like fixing Cactuars/Urugnites, making cities viable and lowering the strength of beastmen monsters?

Dynamis is a HUGE place yet the farming boils down to a handful of monsters why? Does it seem balanced to have CoP be a place with TEs that have little/no protection while an entire zones - Jeuno/Windy - have Gobs/Yagudo skullfucking the TEs? Not to mention all cities have mobs guarding their respective TEs to some degree?

Stop asking for nerfs and start asking for fixes.
This post wins the thread. Tried doing a Bastok solo one time on BST. I died at least a half dozen times just trying to get one of the TEs. Believe it was the MNK NM near the Alchemy Guild...

gonna go ahead and chalk this one up to "thieves are unhappy about something that doesn't affect them, quick nerf bst they always take a good fall"

Are you high?

SE has stated that THF has reached their offensive cap due to TH. TH which at a level past 3 has demonstrated powerful diminishing results. TH3 being an effect that a BST with Yuly or Falcorr can completely mimic. So yeah, if SE is going to tell THF that "youre not getting fk all until we shut these servers down because of TH", you can very well expect us to *** if its not going to be something unique to THF.

What if SE made bst jugs not unique to bst? That way any job can get access to pets and ready? Now everyone can hold 2 mobs in dynamis at once!
TH cap at 75 was TH4, mind you with AAs and TK

it's always been like this...thousands of players after the same thing just to get bottlenecked by a limited amount of mobs or a single nm...just like any1 after a kannagi or almace, 30 people camping gukamatz...SE obviously enjoys having us at each others throats...try not to hate the other guy too much.

Saw that firsthand myself working on Helms in Plateau, even those with Kannagi were always at the 3 Gigas NMs lol.

I like BST fine, but the majority players that I've seen using BST in dynamis do what I explained before. When I say the majority of BST's in dynamis are rude, it means the players. How can BST be rude?

But you're assuming from the actions of a few what every person who plays the job is like, and because of the actions of that few everyone should have to suffer. You don't see the problem with that mindset? It's a good thing for you you're talking about a group of gamers instead of a race, religion, or nationality or you'd be positively excoriated and rightfully so. I'm not saying that this rises to the same level as racism or bigotry, but the thought process you're displaying here is exactly the same.

Quote:
If you don't act that way, then good. At least some BST's are trying. I personally have yet to see very many try, like I said before. If more want to start trying I'll welcome them too, but far too many players have destroyed the image of BST for me in dynamis, so I avoid them most of the time because I just don't want to deal with it.

What do you mean "start trying?" Trying to disprove your misconceptions? I have nothing to prove to you or disprove. I'm an individual who isn't responsible for the actions of others just because I happen to play the same job. Don't assume I'm bad just because I wear the same hat so to speak.

charm: Tames a monster to fight by your side.
virelai: Charms an enemy. difference eludes me

also as someone who soloed both jobs 1-75 i am very damn familiar with both the ja and the spell and what they do when they land is exactly the same

Again I asked about knowing for a fact that it was indeed TH 3 on Yuly and Falcorr, which as far as I knew wasn't known until SE said so before nerfing it. I get TH was known, hell I even remember reading some stuff about whether it was TH1, TH2, or TH3 but nothing for sure. IF the TH proccing was sent client side for pets I'd imagine people would have confirmed it was indeed TH3, if this happened I missed it.

I said EP because BST fight EP mobs not DC (at least I never see them on DCs solo)... I used other jobs used in Dynamis holding EP mobs because BST isn't special in holding multiple EP mobs without death following shortly afterward.

I, personally, do not hate BST. I just avoid the majority of them that start destroying a camp for others. I have met very few people that did the same on other jobs, but the majority of players that wish to ruin the time of others use BST as a tool to do this.

This has not tainted my opinion on BST, nor do I hate anyone using BST. I simply do not wish to deal with *** when I'm under a limited amount of time to farm. Like I said, I met maybe 10-12 BST in dynamis that tried to play well with others, however that isn't very many.

I do not think every BST should be treated unfairly for the actions of others. Me avoiding the majority of BST's in dynamis that I come across is not an action against them, I simply just wish to avoid as much drama as I can because I can't stand it.

I have never treated a BST badly in dynamis because they entered my camp, but I've seen other swarm them trying to push them away. This opinion people have of BST is not because of a select few I'm afraid, because I think others use BST as a tool to push others out of the camp they wish to own. I personally would like to share a camp with 2-4 players depending on the size, as there is plenty to go around. From my experiences though a large majority of BST in dynamis that I've seen will come in, grab everything, and fight. This not only slows down the respawn rate, but if anyone tries to grab something off of your pull it will do nothing but start drama between the groups.

I simply wish to avoid that so I can try and enjoy the time I picked for dynamis and do what I can with it. I personally would love it if everyone treated others fairly and respected their competition, but that isn't going to happen.

Camiie, you asked people to answer your question. I gave you an answer that in no way attacked you.

You however have attacked me multiple times in this topic. I never said that you did any of the things that I mentioned. I did however say that the majority of payers that I see in dynamis do treat others that way, so I wish to avoid them to avoid drama. That does not mean I hate you, or any other BST.
