Now work out what happens when you use Ebullience. Helios hat or Empy hat? Losing Helios hat and 5MB dmg, worth it for Empy hat +1 ?

Math/Spreadsheet has Arbatel+1 a clear winner, by 500ish on tier 1 upwards of 2000+ on tier 5s, due to Enhance Ebullience on Arbatel +1 adding 15% to Ebullience, which is calculated pre MB Damage bonus. This was before I even swapped out my normal nuking body, for Helios To get it back MB Dmg +50%.

Please note, I DO NOT HAVE ALL OF THE GEAR, AND ALL OF THIS INFORMATION IS THEORETICALLY, AND THE SPREADSHEET IS SUBJECT TO ERRORS WHEN UPDATING. PLEASE TREAT THIS INFORMATION CAUTIOUSLY UNTIL FULLY TESTED IN GAME

Amalric Hands +Magic Burst damage IS cap breaking, same as Mujin band.

When not using Ebullience this seems to be the best set for now:

Akademos +10
Helios Band +10
Mizukage +10
Static Earring +5
Locus Ring +5

Mujin Band +5 (capbreaking)
Amalric Hands +5 (capbreaking)

= 50
I'm assuming for someone that doesn't have the static earring, Seshaw Cape would be the next best thing?

Can only have either Helix2 or Helix1 on a mob. Not both. Helix2 overwrites and can not be overwritten by Helix1.

Last Helix cast overwrites the previous even if it was weaker.

Helix2s also can not be used with Immanence unlike Helix1s.

Resolved Issue as of the Sept 2015 update

Quote:
The issue wherein the ability Immanence would not affect the following spells.

Geohelix II / Hydrohelix II / Anemohelix II / Pyrohelix II / Cryohelix II / Ionohelix II / Noctohelix II / Luminohelix II

Thanks to everybody for all of the discussion on MB sets as of late. I'm finally dedicating resources to my scholar again, so that's a huge help. For regular nuking, would I be correct in assuming that this set is the best if you do not have access to Amalric? (Sylph is basically dead, and alchemists are few and far between.)

ItemSet 338000

Obviously swapping out Arbatel head for Ebullience nukes.

When it comes to JPs, what categories should be my priority? I believe I started on Helix duration, but there are quite a few that caught my eye.

Would anybody mind sharing a solid GS file? I'm currently using the base file from github and it works decently, but it's missing quite a few options I need, such as MB sets/toggle and WS sets. As I'm woefully inept at writing Gearswap files, I'm afraid I'm looking for a bit of help, if possible.

Thank you in advance for any assistance, and apologies for all of the questions. It's been quite some time since I last took scholar seriously.

Delve definitely seems much easier since update. Just finished Kamihr Drift solo 1-5B in 17 mins w/o 2hring. Just noting incase any SCH does delve nowadays.

Edit: And a big thank you for all you did with the BLU guide. It was an immense help!

I really hate to be that guy that asks, but I'm new and just need a quick starting point. If I were to prioritize AF/Relic/Empy Reforged, does this seem about right?
- Relic Head (Pre Cast)
- AF Head (Sublimation)
- Relic Body (Sublimation)
- Empy Head (Enhancing)
- AF Legs (Enhancing)
- Empy Legs (Enfeebling)

I have some other pieces from my BLU for nuking that will be helpful (Helios, Psycloth, Hagondes gear).

Are there any pieces that are just completely unnecessary at this point based on other mid-level offerings (I'm just getting started). So right now, reforged cursed/hexed stuff is low priority, just looking to get started.

Thanks!

Relic Feet are very good to enhance Stormsurge.
Empyrean Feet are still the best nuking feet I think?

I'm pretty sure that AF feet are our best FC feet outside of celerity/alacrity. Relic legs are good to take to 109 for the Tabula Rasa duration bonus (30 seconds). As Failaras mentioned, relic feet are excellent for storms and fast cast with celerity/alacrity active. Empy hands are all but necessary for perpetuance, legs are great for macc if you don't have psycloth legs path D, feet are still best nuking options while you have klimaform/weather up (which you always should).

You don't need 109 Relic Legs for the extra 30 secs. Just augmenting the Argute +2 at least 90 will achieve that.

So as far as the current nuking body heirarchy goes for just straight T5/4/3 is it:

Amalric +1/Gyve with a lot of people benefiting from Sphere > Witching > Gyve > Amalric > Hagondes +1?

They were never really any good... Magic skill isn't like Melee skills were it adds ATT/ACC it only adds magic acc; except for BLMs it adds a minor increase in Meteor DMG.

What makes them stand apart is the bonus to Klimaform. For any ol' random nuke tossed out, sure, there's better. For nukes matching the day/weather/Storm with Klimaform though, 119 are a 15% boost.

This is true and I should of pointed it out in my post but from what I was replying to it wasn't explained either and made it seem like they were just BiS.

Yeah the 119 feet are absolutely amazing for nuking considering you should be using Storm/Klima anyways. So yeah they are basically BiS for nuking.

Amalric +1/Gyve with a lot of people benefiting from Sphere > Witching > Gyve > Amalric > Hagondes +1?
Assuming you're getting Macc from a GEO... Which you tend to be.
The food change also made the lack of Macc less of a concern on a single piece...
But the more the better. (Which also likely means that you'll find that witching robe falls just short of Amalric+1. And that even Hagondes+1 and Empyrean+1 perform better than Gyre. Simply due to the substantial Macc they can/are give/ing. Though I would rate empyrean to be better than Hagondes+1. Simply because it's a large Macc AND a large MAB boost.)

Essentially, all that MAB on Gyre isn't gonna help you if you're getting resisted half the time.

EDIT: essentially, Amalric+1 > Witching Robe > Amalric ≈ Optimal Gyre (cause you're still gonna see resists unless you sacrifice other slots, making the substantial MAB moot) > Empyrean+1 > Hagondes+1 ≈ Gyre (by itself it's like Hagondes with MAB instead of Macc: resist)
Gyre is good, but where it REALLY shines is magical WSs.

I was talking about pure damage, not macc at all. I'd put multiple bodies before Hagondes+1 if I was.

Does anybody know our max regen potency as of now?

Also, would anybody happen to have some higher tier skillchains we can make through Immanence? I'm able to make T1s just fine, but I want to start getting more creative on all of them.

We have access to all the t2 skillchains, but we can't make any T3s without using weapon skills

fire->thunder: fusion

ice->water: fragmentation

aero->noctohelix: gravitation

luminohelix->stone: distortion

Fire
*Stone > Fire = Liquefaction
*Thunder > Fire = Liquefaction
Fire > Thunder = Fusion
Full Swing > Thunder = Fusion
**Rock Crusher > Fire = Liquefaction

Ice
*Water > Blizzard = Induration
Water > Shattersoul = Induration
Luminohelix > Stone = Distortion
Retribution > Blizzard = Induration
**Omniscience > Stone = Distortion
**Starburst > Blizzard = Induration

Wind
*Stone > Aero = Detonation
*Thunder > Aero = Detonation
Noctohelix > Aero = Detonation
Blizzard > Water = Fragmentation
Shattersoul > Water = Fragmentation
**Rock Crusher > Aero = Detonation

Earth
*Fire > Stone = Scission
*Aero > Stone = Scission
Aero > Noctohelix = Gravitation
Shell Crusher > Stone = Scission

Thunder
*Water > Thunder = Impaction
*Blizzard > Thunder = Impaction
Blizzard > Water = Fragmentation
Retribution > Thunder = Impaction
Shattersoul > Water = Fragmentation
**Shattersoul > Thunder = Impaction
**Starburst > Thunder = Impaction

Water
*Stone > Water = Reverberation
Luminohelix > Stone = Distortion
Luminohelix > Water = Reverberation
**Omniscience > Water = Reverberation

Light
*Fire > Thunder = Fusion
Full Swing > Thunder = Fusion

Dark
*Aero > Noctohelix = Gravitation
Blizzard > Noctohelix = Compression
Shattersoul > Noctohelix = Compression
*Note, understand how helices work that T1s overwrite one another. So be careful when using Noctohelix/Luminohelix in case you have a strong helix on the mob already, unless you have a T2 on the mob, then disregard because T1 can't overwrite T2 helices.

* Marked skillchains I personally use the most.

List I made awhile back in case you want to get creative and possibly save strategems.

Rather than memorize an awful list, it's better to just memorize a skillchain chart.

For Immanence chains, you don't need to even know what's in each box- just how the boxes connect.

Rather than memorize an awful Skillchain picture, I just memorize the simple colored boxes of the skillchain page of wiki:

If you plan to make Skillchains for your Party/Ally it's worth the effort to set up a macrobar with them.
