That's pretty neat...lots of character and enemy models, different dice, and lots of cards, too! Makes it more satisfying when it all comes down to this...
But I think maybe they should add a little transparent 'YOU DIED' card you can place over your figure, for that proper DS feeling. :p
184 Deaths. Great game. There were a few things in DS1 I liked how they did more, and there were some quality control issues in world design and polishing, but overall a very good game.
It's difficulty is more fair than DS2, some bosses are easier than DS1 while others are on par with DS1 and some are certainly much more challenging than DS1.
did some pvp. won some, lost some. had a lot of fun. Someone set up a little arena with prism stones and had the bellchime staff thing to signal the start of the match. was really cool
after a few fights, i got summoned. Thought i was going to do another duel but nope. host + few sunbros just summoning people 1 at a time and gang killing them. not fun :(
I say that the difficulty of 3 cannot be accurately gauged in comparison to Dark Souls 1, and I say this because it's pretty much nobody's first Souls game. Since we all played Dark Souls 1 and or 2, we're already familiar with this style of game. We had an advantage going into it, despite the minor differences in its mechanics.
I haven't really had any stupid deaths per se, as you may have gathered earlier in the thread, I hated the Road of Sacrifices because of all the invasions and the general size of the area, that place has accounted for a fair few deaths.
Last Boss was weak to fire .... wtf? You would think a guy almost made completely out of fire would be strong against it or something but NOPE. Fire Balls to his face to kill him to death.

I'm not really sure that the Usurpation ending is evil. You're breaking the cycle that has done nothing but relive the exact same mistakes and problems time and time again. Maybe bringing in the dark for good really is what's best. No more mindless hollows ruining the land. I mean, everybody's going to look like beef jerky, but perhaps they can have an entire civilization of beef jerky people.
So apparently, you can kill emma (the lady in the cathedral of lothric castle) when you first meet her, spawning the boreal dancer fight early which then gives you access to everything beyond that ladder.
So I went to the catacombs in DS1 before beating the capra demon and entering the depths/blighttown and Rhea and her 2 knights never appeared at Firelink. Eventually Petrus was all suspicious and stuff... does that mean she's dead or can I still go save her? I know Petrus is the one who eventually kills her but I'm not sure if skipping her in firelink automatically kills her too.
Also; mask of the mother bleh. Now I have to befriend that *** Patches for the good one.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SIGN IN. You are allowed to make anonymous edits. Please be respectful and only edit the workbook if you intend to add yourself to the list. This is not a universal member name > gamertag list for entire site. Only list your name if you own Bloodborne, Demon's Souls, Dark Souls I, Dark Souls II, or Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, or plan to, this way members of the site can coordinate playing together, matchmaking, etc.
