If you could add 1 job to 1 piece of gear?
War on Caladbolg, because I mean seriously, Paladin? What the *** Square Enix. Put them on Gambatein and try to get them to use Club, for godsake.
Ridill and Thaumas coat for rdm, i know that's 2 things, <.<
The use of H2H weapons on both hands instead of just 1.
I'd be happy if mnk could use pole grip... any grip really... fill that vacent slot...
Wotg and Toau Jobs on Relic Weapons.
RDM on any piece of MAB gear that has SMN and or BRD on it but not RDM

As for gear... any DD job would want Black Belt. SE was a *** excluding THF from Byakkos Haidate from back in the day. A THF NM which drop pants that have 5% Haste and 15 DEX. Come on !
They had to fit BRD on them.

I hope someone has said this already but I'm on page 4 of thread (and I won't go back and read the others until I'm bored):
Scholar on Roundel earring. and for some reason I want Dancer to have a B+ in polearm. Don't ask why just do it SE. Has to be a better choice, but Lancer's Cuissots+2 have always made me pretty jelly. 9 STR/18 attack/+10% crit hit damage.

If master is higher than automaton in the stat, a maneuver generates less invisible "burden" toward an overload. But between using AF gloves in maneuver macros and not being utterly stupid, that was never a major problem. Lacking decent DD gear was definitely a MUCH, MUCH bigger issue for PUP in its early days than needing something like MND gear to reduce likelihood of Water Maneuver overloads. /derail off Speaking of Sky set trolling and ToAU jobs, if we can talk about sets instead of a particular piece I always found it pretty frustrating that BLU got on both Homam AND Nashira, but COR and PUP were left off the Sky/Homam/Nashira sets altogether - the only of two of the the first 18 jobs to not get on one of those three (and at least COR got on W.Abjuration set, PUP got nothing). DNC SCH being left out of those sets and Salvage armor was pretty weak, but at least they didn't have to feel the sting of knowing another job from the same expansion was put on TWO of the sets - so no excuse that they were just too new or something. SCH -> Ochain
I'd say mostly for the purpose of 75 cap but adaberk for drg
