For Sanguine Blade, which is better TP Bonus Moonshade(+25% TP Bonus) or +10MAB Earring. I know the MAB will result in more damage but the 25% TP bonus results in more HP healed. Would the extra damage dealt by the +10MAB result in then more HP healed or would the TP bonus result in a greater HP convert despite the slightly lower damage?
Currently at:
196INT
202STR
186MND
169MAB
It's 50% of the Damage converted into MP at 100% TP and 75% HP convert at 200% TP. Assuming linerality, +25% TP bonus should be 6.25% extra HP healed? So assuming an 1800 Sanguine Blade, normally would heal 900, with TP Bonus, it should heal 56.25% of the damage so that would heal 1012, or ~100 more with TP Bonus. So I guess, if my math is on point, that the +10MAB earring would have to increase damage by at least 200 more(since 100% TP= 50% HP drain, would need 200 damage to equal 100 hp heal) to equal moonshade. So would +10MAB increase Sanguine by 200ish damage, if not, Moonshade+25%TP Bonus should be a more efficient choice no?
If Moonshade is superior, which earring should I replace with it? MAB+10 Friomisi Earring or INT+4 MAB+4 Strophadic, given my above stats?

ItemSet 315646
Should be best for self cures. A lot of inventory restraints though so I'd drop the asklep ring for a mnd ring since its used in Requescat anyway. Then the two earrings and sachet etc. Sword isn't really practical but I put in there for max setup lol.
If curing someone else, have to replace the rings with MND.
Not sure on a White Wind build yet lol, don't really cast that spell but interested in the best set for it.
This possibly, only 39% Cure Pot though.

I have been reading the Req. is stronger than CDC?
Have CDC unlocked and currently no merits in Req(apex, shijin, shoha)
My question is how much better is Req over CDC with Tojil's sword AND under what conditions please?
Also If I cant get Req at all for BLU how much would I be gimping myself?
Thank you for any help.
I've covered it multiple times in this thread already, however it's about 20~30% superior to CDC when ratio exceeds about 1.7 for CDC. There's no definite answer, it will vary based on target, however a majority (or all) of the time that you're receiving buffs, Requiescat is better. If you're solo or with very limited buffs, CDC is better.
If you plan on doing anything serious with BLU, then you need requiescat to be relevant since, not only does it do more damage, it's one of the primary reason that BLU is invited to most of the things it's allowed to go to anyway.

If you need the healing go for moonshade, if you want more damage go for MAB. Healing efficiency per SB doesn't mean anything if you don't need or want the extra healing. Replace strophadic first

I guess I was under the impression that 99% of the time that a BLU would use Sanguine is for the self heal, unless you need quick magic damage and UL isn't up and no nukes set. But thanks for the reply man.

Mavi tayt +2 are still worth it for Efflux (they likely won't ever be replaced, they do too much for most spells with fTP scaling); Mavi kavuk +2 is not worth wearing for anything anymore.

Hmm. I'm still a bit new to all the maths for this, but isn't Hagondes body a better macro piece for requiescat even if Iuitl was augmented properly? And what about cheruski needle for req? Aren't there a few better options than that?

It looks like a trade of of 3 mnd for 2 str 27 accuracy and 32 attack depending on Iuitl augments.

Been playing with CDC > Triad and not too sure about it, so wanted to ask if it was a viable option for BLU SC?
If so is there any special gearing for it?
If not then would CDC > Amph Spikes still be best or is there something better?
Thank you.
EDIT:
Also am wondering outside of Occultation is there a reason these days to stack blue magic skill?
Triad seems like it is mostly useful only for the paralyze.
As for SC damage I believe atm Req > Quad Cont is BLUs highest bet for SC damage due to Amorphics horrible mods.
For your skill question I have no clue but I think in slots where you cant use ilvl100+ gear that skill gear may come out ahead mostly your ammo and back.

Currently just Delve, but I believe SE stated they might make it so you can learn them from WKR in the future.

Can Khepri Jacket be used for anything Blu related anymore? Finished it for RNG finally, and making sure I dont need it for anything else.

Because once you reach a certain amount of DW/haste the delay reduction is better than DA+5.

Please forgive the constant stream of stupid questions from me but can anyone explain why now +2% DW is better than +5% DA for TP?
Talking about the earring combo.
Unless you're severely lacking in accuracy, you would use suppa/brutal for TP while dual wielding.

I don't see anything this is good for other than a regen idle peice, or if you really need ranged acc for something (jinx discus?).

Talking about the earring combo.
This only applies where you are marginally near the delay reduction cap. Due to exponential gains from approaching 0 delay, the added 2% attack speed will give you more hits than the DA, as well as making up for the loss of extra tp that adds to total WS dmg. This is why proth specifies this is only the top earring combo when you're missing haste samba or +5 marches that would bring you to delay reduction cap.

I was playing around with Stat sets some, like VIT AGI etc and wanted to ask what is more important the modifiers or stats like attack/acc?
Also unless DEX is listed as a modifier how important is DEX with spells?
Think STR, Blue Magic Skill, Weapon ilvl, Accuracy and, that specific spells mods are the only thing that effect the physical spells. Might be wrong though.

Vit and agi are pretty much always pointless to stack.
Dex does nothing for physical spellsthat aren't modified by dex except for the accuracy it gives you, or crit rate for spells that can crit.

Keep in mind, under burst affinity the stat modifier plays a much heavier role in the damage of your blu nuke. You would want standard nuking attributes outside of BA, but during BA, you want to focus almost exclusively on the mod in any slot where you can get large amounts of it. The exception being places like ears where you can get far more MAB than DEX.

So having a AGI build for Benthic Typhoon isnt worth it, or VIT for Delta Thrust? I dont mean completely dump STR for VIT but trading off maybe 2-3 STR for 6 VIT?? Go pure STR for everything physical?
Also another question, I use to set DA no matter what but if I need to drop down to DW2 should I just drop DA instead?
You rarely have anything to gain by dropping a teir of DW. DW3 and TA if /war, DW3 and DA if anything else besides /nin is a good rule of thumb.

and store tp. it costs one extra point with a spell that you'll have equipped 99% of the time anyway.
So what is best way to handle the one off spells like dream flower, whirl of rage, etc. sacrifice DW3 then i assume?
Never sacrifice DW3 unless it's the last thing you're removing. And no, you should not be ignoring any modifiers for spells; if you can get significantly more VIT than STR in a slot, get VIT (for Delta Thrust, Quad Continuum, etc.). Almost every piece of gear that you should be equipping for spells will have all of the relevant stats attached regardless.
