According to a post on the JP forums today, we'll be seeing an adjustment to physical blue magic D calculation in the next update, but we will not be getting any new spells.

I don't expect this to shift the hierarchy in any real way, rly. blue magic has more issues than just a lower D than delve weapons
Not getting any new spell ever or just this update?

Honestly none of the new monsters TP moves have been a "must have" spell. Leafking have a healing TP move that would have been neat but I doubt SE wants BLU packed with more healing spells.
Paralyzing Triad is what Sub-zero Smash should have been. Phlegm Expulsion woulda been kinda neat for a debuff option. Matamata woulda been another breath fiasco. Give me the calculation adjustment and *** fix add effects already. :) Sylph.Peldin

In terms of blue magic, the development team is currently preparing brand-new blue magic spells and they are schedule to be implemented two version updates down the line. Before that though, in the next version update, we will be addressing the damage values of physical blue magic spells. considering our arsenal currently I'm pretty fat and happy I want more points or tweaking of spell point costs
the adjustment to damage for blue spells sounds fantastic (As the rating is so bad it can't get any worse!) edit hume face 2 face 14=) The look doesn't bother me, the stats are just too nice, so maybe I'm overlooking it haha

Our default load out already has a ton of offensive JTs which make our melee damage pretty good. There's not a whole lot of point space left for much else. SE needs to give us another 5~10 points first before adding in more spells. That or make the new spells low point cost and act towards DW / AR or other useful traits. I'd be just fine with them improving any of these:
More useful/unique buffs and debuffs. Making more multipurpose spells like buffs/dd spells that have good traits. Reducing point cost of certain spells Increasing slots or point totals Higher tier traits Stop gimping the traits we have... Hi FC and DA... Reducing the number of spells you have to set for traits. Like instead of this for DWIII: Quad Delta Barbed Blazing bound Animating wail Mortal ray where setting 2 gets you DW1, 4 gets you DW2 and 6 gets you DWIII you could simply say 2 gets DW1, 3 gets DW2 and 4 gets DWIII. Any of these would help our position. Use the same macro set you would with Req but remove any +MA you happen to have and replace with as much +MND and +Attack / Acc that you can get. Hi Sae, Could you explain what MA is? I can't figure it out. And I think you are saying that the club with 5/5 or maybe even 1/5 Realmrazer beats out sword and Req. Am I reading that right? with 33% more damage with the right gorget and belt? I can tell anyone who thinks the shikigar will hold up, it doesn't. I do about 80-120 points more with the new delve sword than the shikigar. I will be picking up the club tomorrow. stupid inventory space. too bad it can't be modified for att and acc. Offline

been muling over what to mod it with macc seems to be a fine choice vs the other options
can someone breakdown the values for merit point weaponskills? I have an inkling I will have to kill shun somewhat or entirely |
