Trial Axes (Astolfo)

I leveled BST for dynamis, but am really enjoying it, especially since my playtime has been reduced lately and I can just log on and get something done by myself when I want to. I originally just planned to use AH axes but looking at things I'm thinking I should do at least 1 if not more Astolfo's.

The 3 I'm considering are:
1. STR/Attack - easily best for DD, but I don't think best overall.
2. AGI/Pet Eva.
3. VIT/Pet -PDT%

I'm thinking I may do 2 and 3, but just wondered about thoughts of doing 2 of the same one.

I checked last night and Falcor doesn't seem as evasive as I'd like he does good on the EP dynamis mobs, but was only 60% evasion on the leaches in Dyna-Tav. Based on that I'm assuming I'd get more mileage out of #2 above - but that's obviously useless for easy prey mobs. I'd assume they'd be helpful on some of the less evasive jugs as well though, are they worth it?

I've seen a number of people sing the praises of the Pet -PDT% so I think I'll do at least one of those. Just wondering if I'd be better off with something else as the 2nd one.

Depending on the zone and pet i used -pdt x2 or a combo of pdt/eva. In dyna against EPs Falcorr and yuly should have capped eva or close to. In the northlands though, extra eva vs. kindred can be useful.
You can get a good amount of pet -damage taken with gear/traits.

Also, look into building a strong reward set. (if you havent already)

Did you parse this or was it eye balling?

It was parsed, overal eva. with falcor was 76-79% (I forget which), but that was a mix of everything, mostly EP (hornets, Taurii, pugils) and Leeches were only consistent DC

If you're that close to the cap I would just stick with the -pdt axes.

If you're mainly dynamis farming, go for at least one of the str axes first for faster kill speed, specifically the +player att one (not the +pet att one). A fully geared Ruinator set will do more for efficiency than gearing for pet survivability.

Do the other two if you plan on doing more substantial soloing outside of dynamis.
