I've heard conflicting reports on how to most quickly level up Mog Gardens "Garden Furrows".
-clopedia says it's hours plant gestated, but in forums I've seen it's number of items harvested.
Which is accurate and why? Source please if possible.

Do you have rank 7 garden furrows? If so, how many days did it take you?

For BLU jobpoints what would be the best place to put them in what order? I know blu points would be first but after that what would gain you the best use?

Blue Magic Point Bonus first, as you said, then magic accuracy bonus, physical blue magic effect accuracy. If you nuke with elemental spells a lot, then focus burst affinity, otherwise chain affinity, efflux, then everything else. Focus on 2hrs/unbridled learning effect I/II last.
Reasoning behind magic accuracy is because it can boost your magical nuke damage for subduction, new nukes, etc. and your sudden lunge stun magic accuracy.

It's amount harvested, not time spent growing. All the nodes are like that, not just furrows- which means having your assistants work towards getting more per harvesting whether it's the logging, mining or fishing node will level that node faster.
Revival tree roots are handy that way with the quick turnover.

Asura.Floppyseconds said: »Yes, I do most of the current content, and most of the time, I've had to dig for information about them on BG Wiki.
Wikia might not have all of the latest information on new content, but of the information it does have, I can usually find out what I want to know without any trouble. On BG Wiki, I find myself relying on the "Pages that reference this item" link as a crutch.
This ^
I feel that you have to use both at this time for the best info and I'm ok with that. BG-wiki has some good info on event content. When it comes to anything from voidwatch to skirmish to vagary and incursion, you can find most things you need there and it is done well.
If, however, I look up an item (granted, the item cannot be too new) and I want to see what quest/NM/etc drops the item, then the old wiki is the place to go. It will usually tell you all the places you can get said item and sometimes provides a guide for doing so. Likewise, if I am questing, the old wiki is usually way more specific and usually gives better shortcuts and hints.
It would be nice to have everything in one place, but the fact that we have such well-done and comprehensive wikis at all is one of the reasons I have always loved this game. Compared to a game like WoW, our knowledge base is phenomenal.
Just my $.02
BG wiki's weakness is items like distilled water, and its strength is everything else. Granted Faequeen, Funkworkz, Protey, myself, etc can't cover all the ground.
There is simply no reason to have 2 or 3 wikis though at this point. I know people won't all edit one, but it be nice if they did.
The main issue I have with BG Wiki is that if I look up any particular item, I don't just expect to see the stats of the item, I expect to see where/how to get it.
For most of the items I've looked at on BG Wiki, that information just isn't there on the item page. That's what I meant when I said I was relying on the "Pages that reference this item" hyperlink, because the reference page sometimes provides links to Delve, or Skirmish, or something that gives me at least a hint of where the item comes from. But that doesn't always work.
I know the BG wiki crew is small, and don't get me wrong, I appreciate all of the works that's been done on the site - but it's sometimes challenging to find the most basic of information. That's why I still use Wikia most of the time.

Anyone got a list of recipes for the newer abjurations? I'm having a bit of difficulty finding them via wiki and forum searches.

For the Amalric set it lists the alchemy vexed synths under veteran if you have the -1's. For the NQ's you'll need clothcraft sub.
The Carmine set is similiar but w/ different mats and bonecraft sub for NQ's
The list for combinations can be found here

Hadn't done Dyna in awhile, but last time I did, the Stagger animation was gone - just in general the !! animations are gone, still says the stagger message in the chat, just no animations on-screen. halp
I didn't change anything, but dunno where something like that would be in the Config settings or w/e

Thanks for the info. I have my eye on making some gear and still can't believe nobody has posted recipes on BGWiki (at least on the item pages). I think I'll go change that where I can.

I just got home, doing that now. Says about 15 minutes or so, then I guess I'll find out if it worked or not.
I just wasn't sure if it was in the Config or something I could look for in-game if it was a setting that got changed with an update for whatever reason.
Guess I'll see if it works.
Thanks! :)

To the smithers out there what would be the best way to get to 110 from 100 nowadays with the newest crafting update?

More of an observation than a question, but I noticed I don't get the rhapsodies EXP boosts if i'm naked in incursion. Is there a specific list of requirements for them to activate?
Edit: Maybe ilevel? Wearing just a weapon gets me the full exp despite only putting me at 109. Goes from 2520(naked) to 6300(109) and stays 6300 at 119.

Nah, comparing 2 consecutive kills. Tried taking my gear on/off multiple times and confirmed it.
lv99 with non-ilevel gear : 2520 exp
lv99 with 119 weapon only(ilvl 109) : 6300 exp
lv99 with full 119 : 6300 exp
it works out to 2.5x exp, so not quite matched up with rhapsodies but seems like far too much to be the ilevel difference itself(if there's even a penalty for that)
ionis is off, also

So, I got bard shoes -1 last night. My brd is lvl. 10. What can I do with the shoes aside from toss or store?
For those of you that visit Bg you already know the premise of this thread but for those that don't, it's simple.
Quote: This thread is for off-the-cuff questions that don't merit a full topic to answer. 'What should I wear for my level 65 pup?' 'What's the best way to learn the Qutrub Blu spell?'
General Guidelines.
Any questions goes be it FFXI related or not this community has a plethora of people surely one will be able to assist you.
Please don't bash people for asking questions hating someone for seeking knowledge even if you deem it a stupid thing to ask makes you look like an even bigger tool.
If your answer is on the large side either providing a link or spoilering the answer might be a good idea to help reduce the thread size.
