point is TH3 you should never of had as the word balaence creeps in. According to balance a rng is supposed to be higher up the chain with repeated bounty shots.... but you had base TH3... that is not normal and hence the so called pearle bst revolution began. People dont hate harcore bsts people hate the endless bandwagon bsts who know nothing about anything.
Don't come QQing about black sheep take a look at pup... h , It wasn't an issue in the lower lvls because it wasn't TH3 if I am not mistaken so why would people have complained?
Also to note incase you have not read why people steal bsts mobs is because they KILL TO SLOW. That is the only reason people do it, faster kills more repops eqals more coin. Waiting for a lame bst to kill something slows down the groups coinage. This is the sole reason people hate bsts in dynamis.

Pre-abyssea BST myself and this doesn't change anything for me.
I got 75 bst a long time ago because i loved the job.
I have thf now because i wanted TH for stuff such as dyna.
All i have to add is congratulations to anyone who burnt bst up just to spam dyna for currency and drive it into the ground.
MMORPGs of this kind were created to teach people to cross all boundries and learn to cooperate.
So in hindsight, who's to blame for this job adjustment? ....whoops, my bad, this "Nerf"? Point that finger firmly at yourselves.
So stop crying, learn to be civil, learn to share. Maybe you'll make some friends along the way and people won't think you're such a jack@ss.

why does no bst seem to comprehend that youre getting it RIGHT back? you just completely ignore the positive they gave you. name me another nerf where they immediately gave you an alternative that could turn out to be even better than its original state?? this is why people are shaking their fingers at bst, youre crying more than WARs who have had 2 JA's and a WS nerfed in a row, and were not given any way to pick up the slack, that is a legitimate thing to dwell on. a nerf that gives you other options is not. if you dont want to george jetson a TH gearswap, then stick with your TH1, just stop crying about it PLEASE.
edit: or maybe the problem is that drg, smn and pup will now also have TH2-3 and bsts wont be special? IMO this is not a good idea, but w/e

All bunch of cry babies, Oh no the war and mnk are too strong can't let that happen(cry to SE), ***the bst farming more coins than my whole crew together and people cry again. Bring up *** reason to justify the outcry like oh no its a perle bst when I see pink dnc,thf, and perle DD in there too. What is your point?. as for holding army of mob, if that bst can hold an army of mob while your god damn group is farming on top of him/her then that bst should allow to slap his/her epeen in your face because last time I checked if its yellow its fair game to all, and the other point is there won't be enough mob around to hold when the spot is empty with 2-3 people around.

The war nerfing wasn't right either but that's another story. We are not crying about anything, its other people crying that is effecting our job. It's not the fact that we are losing TH, is the fact that they are taking job traits off of our pets at all. This means down the line they could give and take any traits that they want. For bst there pet IS there job, so nerfing the pet, nerfs the job. Like many have said before this is equivalent to SE lowering dual wield on nin because people say they attack too fast but then say but you can obtain gear later that allows you to re-obtain the level of dual wield you had previously. How is that positive? You actually expect people to be happy about that? To make things worse though, they are nerfing a job that already doesn't have a purpose in the overall game.
In EG bst is close to worthless on most things, especially when fighting multiple targets because you have no control whatsoever what your pet fights, it does whatever it wants and ends up getting killed. This is a whole other aspect that people need to understand about bst also, the pet is designed as a mob-type pet since back in the day that's what we used to fight with, mobs. Last time I checked, mobs have all the job traits that pc's have.

I miss the old days when BSTs actually had to charm mobs and be somewhat good at their job to be able to do anything.
These days, anybody can level it, buy a pet jug, and rape pretty much anything.
I used to have a ton of respect for BST as a job, and I had some friends that always impressed me.
There still are some good beastmasters for sure, but all of these full-perle annoying people who leveled it _ONLY_ to farm dynamis just annoys me more and more.
But as I said earlier, this update probably wont lower the amount of beastmasters in dynamis very much, but it'll make what everybody farm be worth more.
So if I can keep farming my 300-400 coins and get more gil for the same amount of work, yes please.

How is that positive? how is this equivalent at all? the purpose of nin's job was dual wielding, it has had it since level 10 and serves more purpose than getting gil (which was a thf thing). DNC and THF got it post-80, so if SE said that they were reducing DNC's dual wield a bit but giving you more DW gear, then fine, it sucks but we didnt have it at all before, so its still better than being forced to /nin 100% of the time. and dnc is my main.

Anyone who was BST pre ABY and especially those BST 5+ years ago know that BST always gets nerfed. It's the life of BST. I will list all the nerfs, but I do not have all the details:
2006 MKP patch -- OUCH
snarl nerf - silent update(used to be able to use snarl far away 40'+)
charm distance nerf - silent(was 19'+ away, not important now)
No charmable pets in zones starting is Sky, Sea and continuing in ABY - again silent, almost passive aggressive if you ask me
I know there are more - just cannot remember off hand
Then... SE finally throws BST a bone, jugs that actually preform. Any pre 76 knows that a jug fighting a ~DC mob solo was surely a dead jug. They sucked at everything, BUT they did have the job traits, mandies had counter, shroom had double attack, CC had slightly better DEF and Lars just had kick arse. SE had never introduced jugs with TH and it was great they did. SE was finally making BST "Usable" and it was working as the BST jobs popularity has grown tremendously. SE then even gave Dawn drinks! I figured SE would toss those out before anything else.
Myself being a life BST I always expect this from SE and have grown to appreciate all BST has to offer. I love how BST can solo VT/IT mobs using one jug! Losing TH will not lose this BST, I hope this update does make a few bandwagon BSTs drop the job and go start giving other jobs bad names.

jesus christ you're not LOSING anything. if you care about bst so much that its worth putting up so much of a fuss, than getting the new gear should be a piece of cake. i guarantee you spend less time getting the gear than you guys did QQing forums making it seem like the man is out to get you.

How about we nerf dnc too? I don't want to see those cry baby triggering White proc and take forever to kill.
The problem is not bst farming coin, the problem people refuse to use the two other type of triggers and we all cluster *** into the area the sametime during JA window. Maybe if SE make ws trigger a super high proc rate and some kind of refresh boost for mages then we'll move on to do the other two triggers.

ya nerf dnc procs and every other job that /dnc for dynamis, including BSTs, good going. and any dnc you see taking forever to kill needs to go sit in the kiddy corner. 90% of the time i have a mob on me, im trying to proc it, after that its down in 1 WS

If they want to bring back balance in dynamis they need to reduce the effectiveness of low recast JAs or JAs all together. This would force players to utilize camps other than just the JA camps. The dynamis sj wouldn't be only dnc anymore, you open up /mage and /sam for whichever proc type you intend to follow.

what you propose is backwards and would decrease efficiency. What they should do is make magic procs and WS procs higher to "balance" the difference. The AoE ws thing was good as you had a choice JA proc or AoE ws camp... that got nerfed so WS triggers are unreliable as you destroy a mob with 1 ws on a decent dd job. Needs higher proc frequency to make other camps / subs a viable option is my opnion

*Beastmaster job adjustments will be implemented in two phases.
Phase 1 - Job ability adjustments
- Feral Howl
- Recast time reduced from fifteen minutes to five.
- Additional merit points will no longer affect casting time, instead increasing accuracy by five percent per merit.
- Killer Instinct
- Recast time reduced from fifteen minutes to five.
- Additional merit points will no longer affect casting time, instead increasing duration by ten seconds per merit.
- Familiar adjustments
- Treasure Hunter effect for Dipper Yuly and Faithful Falcorr will be reduced to level one.
Phase 2 - Familiar adjustments
- Faithful Falcorr's attack strength will be increased slightly.
- The recipe for Lucky Broth will be adjusted.
