How Christians can Make the World a Better Place
Sorry I was sifting through my pics folder and was looking for a thread to use that on.
I'm still lol'ing at it
Totally worth it then!
I'll refrain from putting people in their place unless provoked further.
We need a new current events thread. :(

I posted one, and I felt a little sick but felt kinda glad for the person? iono i'm so confused
need a news story?
how about this: http://news.yahoo.com/house-bills-promote-religion-war-memorials-182151072.html? I don't have a problem with religious symbols in cemeteries or national monuments, seeing as though people were less cynical about religion and usually identified themselves as one or another in the past. Quite surprising on that. I think if it is known of the soldiers being revered that they had faith, the memorial should be able to don such. Just to put them up, not a good idea.

They already put crosses as headstones or crosses on headplates for most military graves. And I'm pretty sure you can find the star of david on otheres too. They should just keep it to a standard like that instead of putting giant monuments displaying one relgion or another. Thought this country was about a blend of culture and religion, and now they seem to want to distinguish whos who and whats what at the cemetary. Funny cause if I said my son/daughter was a devoted scientologist, wiccan or pagan the response would be "lol, yeah right. gtfo with that."
I'm not against a religious symbol for a headstone but its so obvious that the government is willing to recognize only a handful of beliefs. volkom said: » Thought this country was about a blend of culture and religion, and now they seem to want to distinguish whos who and whats what at the everywhere.
