Whats up with everyone wanting to TP in floor 100 head?

When comparing aces leggings/fl 100 head to z-tiara/usu feet the aces/100 combo has a touch more att and stp while keeping the same haste. Allowing you to add the mala over a stp neck.

I was gone from the game since Nov/2011, but lately I been trying to get more into the game (since my husband is in the army) and find it difficult to join the new Nyzul Isle group and VW shouts because I don’t have a relic/emp, I only have smn, whm and sam so working on one seems a bit difficult by myself and I don’t have an event LS because most of the LS’s in my server are GMT and I’m PST.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Kantonotachi is actually acceptable for SAM in Voidwatch and even Nyzul, but if possible definitely go for Masamune. :3

Anyway, without any Nyzul gear and using Kantonotachi I believe your best bet would be:

Is sword strap really that great for Kantonotachi SAM? It takes about 31 swings with the delay difference to obtain an extra att, in that time you could have been using a more att heavy gear set and also possibly gain an extra att from pole or katana grip.

Don't forget that it improves your WS frequency as well. You reach 100% TP a hair faster.

But also anytime you aren't attacking, running between mobs etc, favor swings back towards not using sword strap. Tho I guess if looking for "best gear" it would be the best option in higher tier VW where mobs don't just fall over from looking at them.

You have Sam pants +2 for Shoha WS, is it really better then Ogier's, Avant+1 or Hachiryu pants? I been reading all the comments on this topic but can't seem to find a WS gear for pants, neck, waist that will help shoha.

I have full Usukane set but haven't used it since I got emp Sam+2.

I just want to know what is the "best gear" I need to focus on getting, I might not do high tier VW or Nyzul at the moment but will focus on it if I have to.
