Drk Resolution GS / Builds
in VW you're going to have march generally, so you should probably build a set around that. I believe with +4 march you only need 13% haste to cap with LR up.

I believe with +4 march you only need 13% haste to cap with LR up. 17.2% from Victory March with +3, 25% Equip haste, 25% JA haste from LR. That's 67.2% Haste of 80%, can be easily attained with either: Haste spell, Advancing March, Embrava, Soul Voice, or possibly Marcato? With Haste Spell: 67.2+15=82.2% can lose 2% Haste With Advancing March (+3): 67.2+11=78.2% not capped With Advancing March (+3) and Haste: 93.2% can lose 13% haste I'm not really sure what to do in VW pugs honestly, in a LS where you can be sure of your buffs you can drop tons of haste. As far as what I do (mainly shout pug VW, Pil, Qilin, stuff like that) I can only really guarantee having Victory March. Getting mages to cast haste is like pulling teeth and I'm not sure about Brd songs because with Marcato up Marchx2 is wasted, but with Marcato down Marchx2 is great. Instructing pug bards to do one set of songs for Marcato and one set of songs for non Marcato sounds like it would probably backfire at least to me. tell your pug mages to quit *** sucking. they're not level 39 anymore.

That and you should be getting procs enough to fulltime champion's drink. A brd that can't keep up 2 songs deserves a swift kick.

Champion's drink gives haste spell, you were saying you wouldn't be able to rely on a mage to haste you. Also march x2 always, other people will be uncapped haste etc.

It isn't even listed anywhere in the description or on the wiki. This makes me very happy and feel very stupid.
Not need melee as in dusty wing spam? Pretty sure using a wing at capped haste will actually slow your ws frequency in most cases unless timed perfectly.

Capped haste with Valiant, Marchx2, Haste. 17% DA, 6.5% TA, 1% QA, 5% Crit, 34 Strength. Angr bomblet, Armada hauberk, and ganesha's mala. I don't see why you would use Homam body over af3, porthos, or armada with DA.
Phoenix.Dramatica said: » Angr bomblet, Armada hauberk, and ganesha's mala. Edit: Homam has more TA than Porthos. I'm going to assume that the 2.5% was just due to small sample sizes, but it likely is the same amount or 3% TA. Both still seem like silly choices for the vast majority of VW despite having capped ATK on most.
I thought it was unconfirmed as to the % of TA in homam. Said to possibly be a percentage increase and not a straight increase.
from 1-2.5%. in any event if i had to choose between the two id say porthos would be better. Assuming you need accuracy and don't need haste, Anguinus Belt is an improvement in the latter set.
Good catch, I didn't even think of that.

Leaving out Tyrant's Ring, Phorcys Salade, and Ace's Leggings intuitively leads me to believe that's the case.
Let me see. Assuming at least a 40 TP return WS. At least 1 tic of regain (3TP). 12.3 TP per hit. The T6+ set has 5 hits to 100%. Add in Tyrants, Aces feet, and Phorcys Salade and you get 13.8 TP a hit. That's still a 5 hit. To make it a 4 hit you would need to use another piece like Belt or Body.
Would Mala actually be better in an uncapped Acc/Attack scenario? But yeah that also would do the job nicely.
tbh you can even swap Valk in for Armada and Hagneia Stone for Fire bomblet and maintain your 4 hit.
