Quote: Sharon Bialek says:
He also grabbed my head and brought it towards his crotch. I was very very surprised and very shocked. I said, ‘what are you doing? You know I have a boyfriend. This isn’t what I came here for.’ Mr. Cain said, ‘you want a job, right?
Really? Someone grabs your genitals and tries to forcibly get you to preform oral sex and your response is "I have a boyfriend?". Holy smokes that says everything about what type of person this woman is.
I find that bizarre too. I think most women, after recovering from the initial shock, would have A.) made people aware of what had happened at that very moment B.) walked out the door (no job is worth that unless you actually are a prostitute) C.) punched him in the balls or D.) all of the above.
I would have probably gone with "D". Why did they not speak up until now? That still bothers me. I really wonder who actually obliged him and is now crying wolf. What is the use in waiting? Wouldn't you inform someone at that very moment?!?
I don't know about the other women but Sharon Bialek surely seems to be doing this to cash in.
That quote is just too telling to ignore.

Since were rapping on the door of gay marriage, I also like Paul's idea that if it's not listed in the Constitution it's none of our concern. I can't stand the Bible beaters who think that gay marriage will impede on their every day life.

This is precisely part of why he's doomed to not get nominated in addition to the "Anyone but Romney" sentiments coming from the right.
If you aren't a hardline born-again christian conservative rooted firmly in a specific set of teachings from the Bible, you're inferior at best.

Bahamut.Fistandantilus said: » As far as the sexual harassment issues whether they are true or false makes no difference imo. Peoples private, and professional lives should be separate. I am more interested in how they will govern. That applies to Cain, or Clinton, or Republican's who vote against same sex marriages then turn out to be closet homosexuals. The reason I think a sexual predator shouldn't be in office isn't because I care more about their personal lives than their professional lives. It's just that I think sexual predators should go sit in jail for awhile. So for example, if Bill Clinton ran again, having had consensual sex with Monica Lewinsky, if I thought it was possible he could fix the economy I MIGHT throw a vote at him regardless of the fact that he's a huge liar and a cheat. But if someone who was proven to have tried in any way to rape another person ran for president or any other office, I'm not going to vote for them because it is my opinion that they belong in jail with the rest of the rapists. On the gay marriage, if a candidate is against gay marriage, I won't vote for them anyways. Them being against basic human rights is a very large detriment to me no matter how I look at it. And I do look at gay marriage as a basic human right. Now, all that being said, I think most politicians have relations outside their marriages, lie, cheat, steal, and possibly molest/assault others. It seems like people in high-power positions feel like they can get away with anything because they feel like they are somehow above the law. The difference is, most of them don't get caught. It's one of the (many) reasons why I just don't trust any of the buggers. Edit: I should note that it needs to be proven that the candidate did whatever she/he was accused of. People really seem to like accusing those in highly visible roles of things for attention. If it was proven that he was attempting to rape someone we wouldn't have to worry about it as that is an offense you can go to prison for which makes the aspiration to become president just that.
In Mr. Cain's case it's harassment I believe as I haven't heard anything about rape. I'm conviced he has at least harassed two women because companies just don't throw money at people to go away unless there is at least some or a great deal of evidence to go against them.

Huntsman has been playing towards being Vice-president rather than President.
Not only is he too moderate for his Republican base but he worked for Obama which would make him apart of the problem rather than the solution.
He's like Romney lite and since he happens to be Mormon, there is zero chance if Romney gets the candidacy that he'd pick Huntsman as his running mate.
It might scare the base etc etc.

I like Ron Paul. I'll be voting for him in the primary when it comes to Texas. I was listening to NPR who had each of the candidates give their opinion of Greece and the Eurozone and Paul's sound bite was picked up mid sentence and the commentator said something along the lines. "Oh, he's probably talking about liquidating the government!" I'd like a Paul-Huntsman ticket or a Huntsman-Paul ticket. They can get government out of education, banking and oversee the decline of American economic and military hegemony where we can actually save face.

Ron Paul. I registered Republican so I can vote for him in the Primary. My reasons are pretty much the same as everyone else on here that said they'd vote for him.

I'm going to go with this.
as I've pretty much lost all faith in anyone who is running ever doing anything other then *** our economy over more and more.
The last 2/3 presidents are proof of the rapidly decreasing education needed to become president.

All I care about is that Perry doesn't get elected. He's definitely the worst possible thing that could happen. I don't even need to know about all the other possible candidates to say that with conviction and confidence.
You sound like you worked for the John Kerry campaign in 2004***(Edit). Something you don't know can always be worse, if someone can be that bad, so can someone else, simple logic.

You sound like you worked for the John Kerry campaign in 2008. Something you don't know can always be worse, if someone can be that bad, so can someone else, simple logic. Nope. I've had to endure Rick Perry as our governor for many, many years.. I know what he's like, I know how stupid and crazy he is.. Somewhere out there is someone worse than Perry, but I'm about 99% positive it's not one of any of the possible candidates for presidency..
Simple logic dictates that there can't be anyone worse than him, he rates about a 9.5 on the ***-of-an-idea-for-president meter.. The odds are so stacked in my favor that I'm right it's almost a certainty.. If you don't live in Texas, then you wouldn't really know why any Texan with any level of sense can say this and be confident in what they're saying.

Someone can say the same thing after living in a state with Romney, if he proposed and made tons of ideas that person didn't like. There's no point here. Your logic isn't absolute on the idea, your saying no one can be as bad, all the while admitting you have no means of comparison, meaning you don't even know whats "bad" in reference to a GOP candidate atm. This is like working one job and saying its the worst job in the world for sure, and with confidence, yes you can do that, you can say that, and feel sure of yourself, but only because your basing your argument on your own ignorance.

I think I'd stand a pretty good chance if I decided to run.

Then ask any Texan who actually is following everything if they disagree with me.. Quite easy to test my 'theory'.
Your looking too deeply into what I'm saying, I never claimed it as an absolute, I only go so far as to say it's as close to an absolute as I can get without being absolute. Sure there's that slim chance I'm wrong, but let's get real.
I stand behind what I said, and I challenge you to find one Texan poster who disagrees.

Rick Perry is a terribly overrated governor, everything he claims to have done comes with a huge catch, don't worry, he won't get the nomination. He is done.

That'll be pretty tough on him, Slip. I can't think of a single Texan AHer who would belt out, "Yee-haw! That there governor of ours shot a God dang coyote while on a jog! He'd make one great president! He ain't no panty waist like that God dang Jimmy Carter! Jimmy Carter done got attacked by a rabbit!"

Like the title says... The time is coming soon, where we will vote for our new President...... Personally, I believe the only person that would actually be good for this country is Ron Paul, everyone else seems like a bullshitter!
