Broken Lu Shang's rod repair
I'm looking for ppl with broken Lu Shang's rods they need repaired, or who break them often fishing im trying to skill up woodworking to 80 on them.
Good Luck, unless you skill it on your own broken fishing rod there is almost 0 way I see this happening because either someone is going to be really leary to give you their 2-3m fishing rod to fix or most fishers that I know that can break it have WW leveled to fix it.
ive had wood on hold for the last 2 years while ive been working on my lu shang... a few stacks a week lol. 2k moats to go!
i want my rod specifically for fishing for skillups and breaking for wood skillups.. gonna be awesome!

Trust is a huge issue. Find a friend with a rod.

you wont lose the rod... unless you zone or some random AoE effect.
Yep, can never fail a synth and lose the rod when repairing fishing rods. That's why so many take this route for lvling ww.
I thought you could lose the rod if someone casted a spell on you or something like that, i could be wrong i dunno.
That is why you always use /blockaid when doing synths of this nature :) And never do them someplace silly like a ferry or airship.

You obviously would need to do them on a ferry because that is one of the very few places you will actually break Lu Shang's on. Just be cautious as to when the ship is docking.
well...when synthing around other people sything sometimes the bad thing can happen =\

Or you wait until it docks, and play it safe. That way you never get the stupid break... (unless it breaks right away, but when I was fixing these for my friend, that seldom happened).

This must only hold true for Lu's. I've tried breaking/repairing rods for skills and wasted 40k on rods.(Gave up after I realized the massive loss.)
Correct Tou. Lu Shang rod is the only synthable item in the game that cannot be lost in a synth failure.

Does it say on its wiki page that the synth is unable to fail? I remember seeing it somewhere...

At what point does it become easy to break a Lu Shang? Can you do it at any fishing level? Rethinking this topic intrigues me and I wonder if I could level my friends WW feasibly with my level 18 fishing >_>;

I use Rathen woodworking skills to fish for Lik since I dont have woodworking skill. Nice to find someone thats needs to skill on Lu rods helps alot doing E.Rod quest. Thanks alot SE for a impossiable to gauge quest :P. If anyone doing this quest give Rathen a /tell his good people ^^.
ty for the kind words ryo and giti much appreciated, ok look im not out to scam anyone or steal their rods i dont have fishing lvled and have no plans to but if anyone is uncomfortable tradeing me their rod i have plenty of expensive eq i can trade in collateral as a gesture of good faith im just trying to get my woodworking to 80 and would appreciate any fishers hlp i can get
