Talking to another department right now and they are saying that my card DOES support verified by Visa (so the Visa website lied to me, lol) but he can't determine why it's not letting me sign up. He says there are cards that are not supported, but mine actually isn't one of them. If he gets this resolved, I'll see if I can squeeze a number out of him for people to call and how to get it resolved.

Upgraded my Mastercard to use the SecureCode verification protocol. However, SQEX doesn't seem to acknowledge that my c.card is a SecureCode card. At least there, I'm willing to believe that it make take a little bit for all the handshakes to happen.

oh, great, it says my card number isn't valid when I sign up for securecode online.

Well, fortunately, this month, I didn't have to go through this process of re-entering my CC information as I have grown accustomed to. However, discovering that I was charged 25.90 for 2 content ID's and no add-ons or expansions bought has me /wristing
Ok, this is the information I can provide. Just got off of the phone and I was pretty much at the top of the food chain in terms of their supervisors. According to Bank of America's E-commerce department, verified by Visa is no longer accepting enrollment, which is why people may receive the error on the Visa website when they try to sign up. Anyone who is currently enrolled in it, good on you, but anyone who is NOT, will not be able to sign up. So now it's not a matter of what cards are able to get the verified by Visa system, now it's a matter of "we aren't taking anyone else into verified by Visa." This is the information I received from them, so if Visa manages to sneak you in, please don't shoot the messenger, I'm just notifying everyone else of what I was told to prevent some frustration. Suggestions are obvious, call SE on Tuesday (since office will be closed on Monday due to the holiday I believe) and have them verify you there, they should be able to bypass it. I am going to call Visa now and give them a piece of my mind about still having the verified signup on their site and causing people to spend hours on the phone for no reason. I'll post again if I get them to force a signup through.

Bank of America says the info is still hazy to them but it may just be BOA that isn't complying with it anymore.
So for the moment, the Verified by Visa issue looks to be BOA problem even if you card is eligible. However, don't let this deter you from trying. It could possibly just be a district thing or Visa just hates me.

i got hit by this ***too...
i still can check my infos etc... except i'm still getting that error1104 when attempting to reactivate my IDs...
I can access the form to update my card infos but ... it didnot save the virtual number i used, and since i don't remember... i can't just "refresh" it. i'm using a MasterCard through SecureCode.
Guess i'll have to wait monday and get to my bank to get another virtual card number... Unless someone has an idea on what to do here ?

no it does not, it only "charges" 1 time and it's a ghost charge it never actually posts to the account but you still have to have $1 in the account for it to work (at least that's the way it's been working for me, I've had to verify a dozen times in the last couple of years).
OK so my verified by visa finally worked, (after attempting to verify dozens of times and being told my card could not be authenticated) here's what I had to do.
I had to completely disable my noscript addon in my browser.
I also had to clear my cache and cookies and close the browser.
I then clicked the link in POL for VBV and let it open the browser page to the VBV thing. After doing all of that t FINALLY worked properly, I'm all verified again.
So if you have noscript running, disable it, clear cookies/cache and try again, hopefully that'll fix it for anyone having the VBV problem that I was having.
Error UCS-5313 can go to hell. I've been at this for a while and I can't understand why it's doing this now and I refuse to call phone support because of the stories about it being too shitty to be worth doing. I'm on the verge of giving up here.
Anyone think if this is part of the SquareEnix account transfer thing they announced? If transferring my POL account to my Square Enix account doesn't do it, I'm officially *** and stuck.

For those who have to use the north american customer service of Square Enix,monday is an american holiday,Independence Day, not too much of a chance anyone will be available to help because they are in El Segundo, CA. Tuesday will be a hectic day for them I bet.

edit: screw that, it has a monthly fee you have to pay for to have one of those as opposed to getting a new one at the bank for free. I'd be spending more on that than I would otherwise.

If anyone knows someone with an xbox/ps2 and you TRUST them, you can have them reactivate for you.
Yeah, but what are the chances that It'll just get busted afterwards by the end of the month? It would require doing it over again and risk a double-charge.
starting in AUG u should be able to pay with CRYSTA so it shouldnt matter if you are verified by visa or not~

Bummer, turns out you can't log in to someone's account through XBox, you need a gamertag for logging in as either a member or guest. Lame.
GF had this issue, and I did a few months back.
Only all I did was when it asks you to sign in again to re-activate the Content IDs, I said "Exit", and it brought me back to the main Login screen as if everything was normal.
Worked for me then, worked for my GF today and worked for my LS leader this afternoon. No re-activating IDs etc etc. Just pretend you're going to fix it, click "Exit" and it asks "Abort this process?" click yes, and everything is back to normal.
No dealing with Failenix's Customer Service Dept etc etc headaches

the creation of a gamertag is extremely easy, having a gamertag does not cost any money.
