Event will start in Upper Jeuno and will end at a destination tbd. Must be on a job lower than lvl 20 to participate with /anon off. No items, speed enhancements (unless a kupo-power), and no sneak/invis. No mules, no jerk offs, and no entry fee.
Winner takes 500,000gil, second play gets 350,000, and 3rd place gets 150,000. To participate you must be in one of the Profit LS lead alliances. Open to public.

I remember doing something like this a long time ago. It was a naked race. Lvl 1 job no gear, no movement, etc etc. Run from a starting nation and usually first to cross into jueno wins. Was a lot of fun.

It's pretty simple. Just get in one of our alliances so we can make sure all /anon is off and on proper lvl jobs. Then we give certain requirements at a checkpoint to start the race ie last time you had to /random below 100 to leave Jueno. It's then just a foot race to find my hidden mule in a zone we designate. I think the next race will be to Le Thiene or the Dunes from Jueno :D

Yeah funny stuff, I did something like that whit an old friend, we race naked lvl 1 job from Rabao to Bastok, the fun was in the Korroloka tunnel, it was before the astral burn pts so was interesting =)

He does this like once a week in shouts, most ppl just troll at it, and its hillarous when tards cheat at it and get caught, then cry in shouts.

I did this on ramuh about 4 years ago we called it the naked mile. Bastok to jueno. We had 4 judges on choccos running with them and 50 ppl that showed for the event. Even to this day I have friends who I met at that event who are in my ls now.
I don't mean to be a Debby Downer, but a lot of people cheat in this age of FFXI. Many, many people use flee hacks. I would be aware of that when you are running this thing. Have fun otherwise, nice idea.
if they have people on choco's running with groups it would be damn obvious even if 1-2% increase over another player. unless there is a lot of cornering where proper pathing makes a huge difference.

I usually have my own GM following me since there's a group of special players that don't know what RMT stands for and call GM's on me frequently...which perplexes me considering I give it out but in any case I'm sure I can remind everyone with a word of caution lol. I am aware of the hacks out there and so far haven't run into it yet. This will be the 6th or 7th time I've hosted one of these. Normally I just watch the map from inside the alliance to make sure I don't see anything erratic happening. Thanks for the warnings and I'll be sure to watch closely but not too close to where I don't enjoy the event.
You should step it up a bit and allow people to place bets on racers lol. cuz choco racing is w.
