Amazing idea, but yeah look out for a couple of cheaters running at 8% or so. Anything under 12 is barely noticeable to the naked eye but through a couple of zones it'll be very noticeable.
As someone who has speed hacked, map out what you think is the most efficient route and watch anyone who deviates from it very closely. I'd take a slightly inefficient route and the moment nobody is looking crank it up to 25-50%.

That's very true Daemun but I try to not entice as much as possible so when it does happen I can just sit back and enjoy the drama torama.

As a sack holder for profit and a dev for windower, I can see signs of tool usage easier than most normal players. Soo try to cheat. You wont win.

It is fun and I'm grateful to have people watching my back in my LS like Hyshio. We (I at least) have a lot of fun doing these. I probably shout more than I need to but w/e those on Ragnorak know I'm not afraid to throw some 4~9 liners up in /shout.

Nexus cape ftw, btw IIRC this kind of races used to take place some years ago and people were getting banned for doing this... Not sure though, but I will be there because I need that money :/ sorry for having already won ><;

Who would you Nexus to? The mule that's outside ally? How would you use a Nexus Cape on a lvl20 or below job?

This is a fun idea, I did this when I was new to the game with the friends at level 1 to race to the top of Ghelsba. You could always have leaders in the alliance level sync their party to prevent people using a higher job and to allow people who don't have a level 20 job participate.
