Bazaar Crashing Ppl...?

Wow so uh, some guy was standing in P jeuno, Inuyashakite on Leviathan server. I examined him and it crashes me... I tell a friend and it crashes them. I told another friend and it crashes them. So got me curious and eventually other people started crashing and someone starts a shout fest about it. What could cause this to happen? What could someone have in their bazaar to do that lol? I know I met this guy a long time ago during a ISNM or something and it did the same thing but I ignored it haha.

If I had to guess, he had a bazaar comment that was too long to be seen. Sorta like if in the past you copy and pasted text into the log and it was too much you crash.

I remember one of the stability problems on the FFXIV server I'm/was on right in the beginning was basically being crashed because of a few corrupted items.. Something like they put it on their retainer and the server crashed..

Anyways that's my guess.. That there's something in his bazaar that got corrupted somehow.

The other day i saw about 20+ people red dot ALL over jeuno at the same time.

I know there were ways of glitching the game that you could lock items in someone's inventory into their bazaar, even r/ex ones so that they wouldnt be able to wear it until they called a gm to get it removed. You haven't been able to do that for a long time though because it done by sending bad packets to the server.

i had a problem with my bazaar that i copy pasted asian squigglies and when ever id try to erase them it would make me freeze and crash on 11 lol its now gone but maybe its something similar

This guy crashed me too~ I sent the GM's a message and I got the form letter response... I sent them back a message saying I was concerned about my account being compromised, and if they could tell me if it had or not...No response. :(

I remember a while back hearing about a bunch of corrupt item data in some stuff in peoples bazaar. They couldn't get rid of it and anytime someone checked them, their game died.

I dunno how much truth there was to it though, I'd only been playing a few months when it was being mentioned.

tbh looks like the gear selection was the issue from the sounds of it, not a bazaar comment

Idk tbh... I saw on BG people were saying that this was done a while ago by someone who put broken auto trans or foreign code into the bazaar/lsmes that used to crash people. I distinctly remember this guy and crashing a long time ago, like when abyssea first came out or bit before that... Lying? I dunno lol.
