cute girls in my classes this semester though, going to try to pick one of them up >:
Ask them if they want to get food with you or something and see where it goes from there.

was going to try talking to random people around campus but seeing as its cold as balls atm im going to wait until spring
lolololol
But yeah, I have lunch with people from class all the time. I mean of course nothing has ever happened (I'm dating Nightfyre etc), but I've never been like 'NO *** YOU WE CAN'T EAT TOGETHER RAWR'... >___>; all guys highschool etc. still nervous about this ***in college because of it
Carbuncle.Lolserj said: » all guys highschool etc. still nervous about this ***in college because of it Oh, lol. I could see that being an issue.... hrrrm. If you have a group project, the best way would be to approach one of your teammates and talk to them. Or talk to the girl who draws cute pictures and be like, 'hey nice drawings!' It's a little strange to just go up to someone out of nowhere, so find something that you can talk about. Like perhaps complimenting her hair/t-shirt/drawings/novel she's carrying/etc. Fenrir.Niniann said: » Carbuncle.Lolserj said: » all guys highschool etc. still nervous about this ***in college because of it Oh, lol. seriously sick and tired of this no girlfriend *** Carbuncle.Lolserj said: » you mean twilight don't you I would consider avoiding a girl who carries around a Twilight book. but why do girls always expect doors to be held open from them even if its from like 20 feet away i've gotten so many dirty looks in the past few days because of that Carbuncle.Lolserj said: » some people don't seem to like being bothered at all though >: This is true, but if you don't try you'll never succeed. Quote: also, Ninian maybe you can explain this to me but why do girls always expect doors to be held open from them even if its from like 20 feet away i've gotten so many dirty looks in the past few days because of that I live by this rule, but I'd never shoot anyone a dirty look unless they actually slammed the door in my face (has happened a few times). Anyway it's silly to me. A lot of girls just feel entitled to everything. @@; well *** those girls D;
i might try to stay in my major though (surprisingly there are quite a lot of CS majors who are girls)
or something related to math or science Carbuncle.Lolserj said: » i might try to stay in my major though (surprisingly there are quite a lot of CS majors who are girls) or something related to math or science Girls usually do arts/humanities. I only know a handful of girls who are in the math/sciences. If there's some in CS that's not bad. I mean, obviously don't pick your major to pick up chicks... that's a bad idea. I would suggest getting into clubs. Anime club etc. I know Nightfyre was in the ballroom dance club. I don't do clubs though, people are scary. (Did I mention I have no friends?) Don't worry all my friends are CS majors (Not even kidding) and not in any clubs because i'd rather... do other stuff in my free time but might have to join them some day D: Carbuncle.Lolserj said: » Don't worry all my friends are CS majors (Not even kidding) and not in any clubs because i'd rather... do other stuff in my free time but might have to join them some day D: Ahaha, it's okay all my friends are digital media majors assuming they haven't graduated (most have). Clubs are good because it forces you to mingle outside of your comfort zone, exposing you to more people. As I've said, people scare the ***out of me so I'll pass, but I'm content with my situation. I met my first bf in college at a free food event, he was an RA and was passing out free food and we talked while I stuffed my face. Could look into stuff like that too. That seems interesting :o
I've never thought about using something like that but uh yeah, i like not people Carbuncle.Lolserj said: » That seems interesting :o I've never thought about using something like that but uh yeah, i like not people It's alright. D: ^^ Just do something that gets you involved with people. Once you make a friend with a girl or two you don't have to keep up going to these events until you're sure it's not going to work out, rinse repeat etc. Also keep in mind--even if the girl doesn't like you, they might have friends. ah, good point there
maybe if there was some sort of sushi club thing or something that would be nice >: Bismarck.Faelar said: » What the hell can I do to alleviate this situation? find one that will break your junk
that one will be a keeper just ask night >: Carbuncle.Lolserj said: » ah, good point there maybe if there was some sort of sushi club thing or something that would be nice >: There might be a sushi club. You should check facebook, I think facebook has most clubs on there. Carbuncle.Lolserj said: » it does? didn't know that. I'll have to check I don't really use Facebook, but you should be able to type in your university and search groups and it should show up. Maybe someone else who's more familiar with the website could help you out there. @@; hopefully i'll come out on top after working to get a girlfriend D;
