Problem with all the M16/AR15 series is that they were never intended to be used to "kill" the weapon is designed and classed as a suppressant weapon. The caliber is either the .556 or remington 226 rounds, Just slightly larger than a .22lr with a lot more punch. The actual round is meant to enter the body than bounce throughout the body from bone to bone. causing eternal rips and tears of the organs. You would probably have to empty third to half a magazine to take down a single zombie.

I would assume to reliably take out a single zombie you would want at the very least 9mm and even this might not be enough. It takes an average of 3 9mm rounds 2 to the chest one in the head to kill a human dead on the spot.

Personally I'd go for expansive but consolidated rounds of Winchester .45cal

Main weapon: H&K MP5 .45 cal Very rare in the USA($$$20k+)
Side Arm: Glock-22 .45 cal police issue for larger mags

Combo'd with some sort of sword preferably a katana and a large hunting knife and a wooden baseball bat.

But a more realistic could be

Main weapon: Standard H&K MP5 9mm
Side Arm: Any 9mm pistol

Dasvaa you just said same thing I just said cept I gave two versions and one of them having more kick.

Your shots would be in controlled bursts until you end up getting caught by surprise by many undead. Then panic sets in and you start rocking and rolling, spraying and praying. Unless you keep it on semi-auto. Even then you'd be tempted to go full auto with adrenaline pumping right?

Nah <.< it takes a lot to unnerve me and I'm extremely logical.. I just waste half my shots whizzing by them and the other half hitting like their hand or shins and stuff and Ima get eaten.

Unless there's a propane tank next to them, then boom (hopefully).

Everything in just one small weapon. No need for Ammo since the Holy Spirit is used as it.

I'd shoot the first person I saw carrying that, just for carrying such an ugly *** gun <_<

Okay, for the unholy dead, I'd carry a tranquilizer gun only the darts would be filled with holy water.. Or go JAWS style, except instead of poison, holy water.

And Fire is very effective against zombies, but since they are harmful to them and us, it is not wise to use it.


Semi-Automatic Rifles (Such as the M1) are the most effective Firearms in combating the Zombie threat

and as for melee, a Crowbar is universally useful besides as a weapon, generally light weight and simple to use, for blunt hits or using the edge to stab into the eye socket and pierce the brain.

However if you are looking for a melee tool just for the purpose of killing Zombies, a Machete is best.

Before killing a zombie we need to study their behavior. THEN we pick up guns. Why people don't use the step by step system?!

Exactly fire is a bad idea <_< it won't drop anything instantly when that something doesn't feel pain.. They don't need to breath, so even the secondary effect (oxygen being stolen by the fire) of being on fire (the first being pain) wouldn't matter..

Imagine the 1908 Chicago fire... But WITH ZOMBIES.
Fire is very situational and is really only good to use if you have an advantage of higher ground (assuming zombies cannot climb/enter the building)

Fire is nice in the whole it spreads thing. As long as you keep your distance it shouldn't be bad to you. A little fire can take out alot easily and cheaply. Start a forest or city fire take out tons... finally burn all the ones you led off a ledge...

But just got an intersting idea. Watching Diary of the dead right now and they just took one out by using a defibrilator on it's head lol.

Also while the person is dead alot of there flesh is in some state of functionality obviously. So perhaps infect them with something? Set an army of brown recluses after them!!!

Still I'm going with fire enclosed areas and using myself as bait to get them to jump off cliffs just to see how many I can kill as a hobby. Try to keep count too :). Also gotta stock up on twinkies

I am reminded of that scene in the first (1968 Romero) "Night of the Living Dead" where that couple try to escape in the pickup which caught fire then exploded in a huge fireball.

Then the remaining zombies just all staggered over and had BBQ. ;_;
