Quick question about belts...Windbuffet, Wanion Belt, or Elemental Belt for WS? I have all three and from what I am reading here people are saying Windbuffet is best, i'm just having a hard time understanding why. Could someone explain?

Elemental belt is 25/256 fTP for the first hit

Windbuffet belt is 2TA(0.06)+1QA(0.08) fTP

What would be a fair price for Fulad-zereh?

It really is whatever the people selling it want to charge, but I wouldn't expect it to cost more than 20 mil honestly. Cursed hauberk -1s go for around 15-20 on every server from what I see, I would expect that price range for Fulad as well.

They sure do. However, you're forgetting one important part.

I'm personally at 6m worth of tatters and counting. Considering most people seem to go over 100 attempts before getting an ideal result...
Also abjurations for E Body sell for 5-6m easy too.

All in all the cost of a good armadaberk if everything is bought is up around 25m, plus time invested. I don't think Fulad should have any problems matching or exceeding that

Think I'll just stick to Armada Hauberk augmented with STP+6 and whatever I can(got Ebody off Odin NQ 1/1 in pickup shout 1 month ago), hell at 30 mil, could have a pretty decent chunk of money to go for Cursed breastplate-1 on my server...

I actually have a slight question about this. <_< My synergy's 58 right now, should I try to get 80 before trying to augment, or I can try augmenting now and just get 80 eventually?

better wait till 80 or find someone else who has 80 and does it for you. Higher skill enhance HQ rate me thinks like other crafts aswell, and since you mostly need HQ 2 or 3 better dont wast your gil on trying to augment with skill 58

how does a shadow breastplate with 2TA compare to other sets. Assuming the rest of the normal valk gearset.

Windbuffet belt for higher spikes in damage. When all hits land it is sexy!! For over all consistancy elemental belt wins. Especially when ACC is needed I think.

It does fine, it's just not 'the best.' If you didnt need acc beyond the valk set, I would rank them as valk > NQ shadow breastplate > fulad > armada > NQ adaman hauberk

If you did need ACC I would say Armada > NQ adaman hauberk (can still use mars ring with this, unlike Fulad)> Fulad > valk > shadow. And if you didnt have any of those, just use Phorcys body when you don't need ACC(and tyrants ring), and AF3+2 (and mars ring) if you do.

About this: Elemental belt really only pulls ahead if you need the ACC. it's .1ftp and 10~ acc on thunder belt vs .12 ftp from windbuffet.

You could buy the abjuration and the -1 and 40 mil worth of tatters, which would basically guarantee you amazing augments for 80mil. Or you could buy Aramada+Valk+both Abjurations+10~m worth of tatters, lol.

TA2 anything doesn't beat a DA3 anything if you have Fighter's roll.

while this is correct, most people dont roll around with a COR mule in tow, TA2 and 10 attack is generally better.

Alright, so I originally figured it would be around 50% DA that it starts to win, but the post you quoted says you need 60% DA starting off. How exactly are you getting to 63% or higher?

Fighters roll 11: 24%
Trait: 10
merits: 5
Brutal: 5
AF3+2 pants: 5
AF3 Earring: 1
Gloves when restraint is down: 2

Perfect conditions on fighter's roll still only puts you up to 50-52% depending on gloves, anything less than that and you're looking at -10%~ DA.

Well, for one, I linked that discussion because I don't want to explain something like that when there is a perfectly good discussion detailing the entire process. To come to the conclusion that, with Fighter's roll, a WAR is better using DA3 than TA2, I did the calculation myself.

If you had really read anything, or at least read my intent, you'll see Prothescar make a post like 2 posts later saying that DA beats minute amounts of TA around 47%

15%
17%
--
32%

What I calculated actually came out to only requiring a 9-11% fighters roll to beat TA2 breastplate

At 50% DA, 2 TA and 3 DA both make your average hits 1.53 per round, at 2/50 and 53. Anything higher than 50% before the body favors armada.

If they provide the same amount of extra attacks and TP gain, than Shadow wins because it also provides extra attack.

Really.... When you link a post, people will think the post you linked is the most important one and what you wanted to convey. The linked post said 60%, so the natural thing for people to believe is that at 60% the DA starts over takes the TA. But whatever, this argument is stupid and I'm done trying to explain common sense to you.

So! With new an additional 12 DEX, how does the feasibility of dDEX Ukko's fair? On harder things, it won't work. The highest DEX rating I can get without making large sacrifices is 160 on a Mithra Warrior, which means it's only feasible up to 110 AGI, which is 10 shy of the estimated 120.

Any opinions on it?

Acc+12, Crit DMG+4%, Crit rate +3%, DEX+41 (DEX translates to a maximum of 15% crit rate)
vs.

Attack+23, DA+5, STR+11, QA+1, TA+2, 0.1 fTP, DA DMG+

The top set is the highest I could push it and individual pieces can easily be dropped or swapped, etc. Hecatomb Hands +1 might be better overall for instance in this set.
