Ukko's Fury Setup

I have Kannagi and uncapped ninjutsu. Problem?

naw thats not a problem at all im just saying that ppl should focus more on the gear you need to make the weapon better b4 you rush your ***and make a fool of urself

So what's the most optimal setup that you could possibly have for inside abyssea? I've seen alot of different personal sets, but as far as the best set you think you could ever have for ukkos is which?

This is my Raging Rush set up, just wondering if there's any ways I can look to improve it.



This is with Berserk up, the Berserk down set swaps out the Mail for Grim cuirass and Haidate for Ravager's Cuisses +2.
Not extremely fussed with stat +7 rings either, I'm just using the spiral for its versatility, my Haidate also have Stp +2 and Crit. hit Dmg. + 4% aswell.

Brings up a question I had as well. Is 2/2 or 3/2 bellicus legs as good for RR as they are for Ukko's? Been trying, 0/232 currently.

If you TP in full +2, that Kannagi is a waste. Almost like every other Kannagi owner I seem to see.

looks nice. only things i see worth mentioning are that flame pearl/ravagers earring might top centaurus in a zerk up situation, and rancor collar is nice.

Fairly certain unless you're benefiting from the dDEX you're better off sticking to Emp+2 legs over crit haidate. Zahak's Mail on weaker targets with Zerk up, the accuracy on Mail should be superfluous unless you're outside doing VWNM, you might as well stick to Grim.

Switch grip to Claymore.

I find no use for crit dmg haidate on WAR. The only possible time I would think would be capped attack/blood rage(100% crit rate/80% crit dmg). I this case its just the 5% DA vs the 4% crit dmg. I've ignored the piece as this would be the only use for me, but since you have it you may as well macro it in.

Inside abyssea Twilight's not doing much for you over Grim(+1) in zerk up situations. I personally find it better because even with zerk I may not cap attack (debuffs, no stalwarts, other random scenarious).

I use claymore grip, but it does nothing for you in Blood Rage situations when you're capping crit rate for Ukko's. Something to keep in mind depending on what kind of fight it is and how many WAR's you have (also make sure to swap out Rancor for gorget/ire+1). Rancor should be used for all non-blood rage Ukko's.

Versatility reminds me of an old saying... Jack of all trades equates to good at nothing. Which btw I'm reminded of a lot in this game not just by you.

You could get better damage out of a Berserk up set if you (assuming your talking outside abyssea):
-Swap Brave for Claymore Grip (Brave would be better suited for an MS set)
-Ravager's neck for Rancor collar
-Centaurus for a str earring
-Twilight Mail for Zahak's Mail
I understand you like spiral for versatility but it's gimp on both ends that you use it for. However 2 str won't break you.. but it could help and you asked for advise so...

It seems like i said most of your WS set isn't good, but that's incorrect. It isn't optimal, you are on the right track though. It could be better though, otherwise you wouldn't have asked.

I apologise I put that set up at stupid o'clock last night and I totally forgot to add the rancor collar, thanks for the advise though guys it's much appreciated, I've been getting the War twitch lately and I just want to Smash things in to pieces. :)
Edit: Sorry I forgot to ask, should I be fulltiming snow belt, or is it better to use anguinus ina berserk down situation?

Brave loses to Claymore if Blood Rage isn't up and only increases crit damage by 2% inside if Blood Rage is up if using Sang Scythe (and not at all with Crit haidate), pretty sure Claymore is better overall.

Elebelt beats Anguinus from what I can tell almost all the time.

Notes: My heca feet +1 have 3 Gax skill on them from augment. Also i just started playing war as of recently since i finished my glavoid shells and got ukko's fury so i'm sure my gearsets need alot of work, but from what i see ws gear needs alot of STR.

Any pointers on all of my gear?

Claymore grip, +2 head, Rancor Collar, Ravager earring over triumph, Twilight body is okay, but can be replaced(by grim/+1,Zahaks), Atheling mantle, +2 legs and feet.

Honestly though, just look back a little bit and you'll find the info you need. Really the only questions that should be asked in this thread now should be about new gear. Optimal sets have been posted several times. x.x

Yeah, because you need 26% to actually be at cap.

And sorry for not specifying, yes, for weapon skill. You're TP set doesn't require much upgrading other than Blitz, but you'll find that Askar body, Ada/Armada Hauberk will pull ahead of +2. Rancor is nice for TP as well, but sometimes its not safe to be wearing +10% Damage Taken. x.x

It's a 6-hit, 5 after I WS and it has capped haste. Is there anything I should change on it? It seems to be pretty BA but I'm not even close to being very knowledgeable when it comes to good gear...

Why not just change the hoard to str or something and keep the speed?

haste is pretty much win on the ring slot since you won't but sacrificing much of anything unless that hoard completes your xhit

I have my doubts on that being a 5 hit after WS since the last time I did STP calculations I already take TP after WS into account, and 5 hit still required Rose/Tact/Almah/etc. without VV (and tact even with VV) unless I'm missing something.

i think he was just saying it's a pseudo 6hit.

Okay, that makes sense, switching body would be a bigger increase over keeping speed over goading.
