Eh, forgot to say I was talking TP phase. Grim would be better during WS, yes.

you're the sole person talking about TP set. I'll say again, people TP on voidwatch mobs?

edit: but yea I didn't even notice you were talking about tp set til I had finished editing it. I thought something was seriously wrong with you if you were WSing in Ravagers lol. My bad

Quick question on the Rancor collar... anyone know how many tonberries you need to kill to get the max effect?

Answered it myself, BG wiki says it will require 6000 gil to reset your hate at the tonberry priest and that will net you the capped amount of crit rate

Adaberk is best during WS for balance of accuracy/attack, yeah. Twilight lacks the attack, Grim lacks the accuracy, and against VW mobs you're going to want to avoid lacking accuracy. I'd actually suggest WSing in Twilight on the extra evasive mobs though. I haven't found myself in need of attack on VW mobs except for the crab, but he's just a *** punk.

So, with that said, should I sell off the Zahak's I have been using? For a while people seemed to say that was the winner if you didn't need the accuracy from other sources.

Zahak's is still very good in Abyssea. We're talking VW, where we don't have an innate +45 acc from Razed Ruins/Cruor Buffs.

Zahak's is situational inside abyssea because you'll overcap crit rate on WS with blood rage, and you don't want it if Berserk/Attack Boost is down. But that still gives you a 2 minute window of using it as your main piece (4 min if you have stalwarts).

I never use it outside however. just me? idk

Is augmented kitty pants better than Af+2 legs for RR / Ukkos inside abby?
With 4% damage bonus, on average, it will be on par with af3+2 legs inside of abyssea with capped attack (two of rcb/stalwarts/berserk should do it). Without capped attack it will fall short.

I'm assuming RR/SS/AoA and good gear.

I'm very curious about this as well. I do use RR/SS/AoA and have good gear, just have no idea which comes ahead. I really like the idea of Crit DMG+, but should I keep AF3+2 for zerk down or something?

As far as Zahak's goes, I just dont think 3% is worth losing 5 STR 30 attack(Grim cuirass), especially inside abyssea. But yeah, definitely not needed in Blood Rage situation.

If you're capping cRatio the 30 attack isn't really "lost" to begin with because it wasn't contributing anything. That's the whole point of using Zahak's with Berserk up vs fodder and low-level NMs.

...what?

I guess you missed the memo, the attack/defense function caps.

Also math is hard, need the job at 90 to understand how it works etc.

I get it, situational gear is a difficult concept for you. Like I said, fodder mobs and low-level NMs (ex Visions, some Scars NMs)... zerk, maybe add stalwart's, you'll easily cap on most of those.

I wasn't aware that you could skip the 80 stage of Empyreans now.

Same yo. Cuz only reason I'm on THF is for TH, and you get less attempts if you do more DMG. inb4 SA TA naked

I saw new posts and thought "goody, I get to talk about war more!!!" but then I read the content. sadface.

As a friendly note, its not normally a good idea as a new poster to pick a fight with one of the better mathologists on the forum.

Shouldn't be going warrior to any event at all. The job runs too slow to keep up with anything.
