I'm looking for an alternate server to play on until Gate gets things situated (Blackfrost going down in 2 days until he gets it back up), so I'll post and let you guys know what I find if you want to join me and we all kinda band together til he gets things up and running again :D
Anyone that likes s challenge check out Skyblock.net its a interesting way to pass the time until Blackfrost is back up.

Yeah I'm really loving the update so far. My only complaint I have is the bug going to/from the nether making you fall out of the world. Has me scared half to death to use my portals >_>

NB. Don't stand directly the block if you do. Don't remove the center one, either.

Ill do the same, but I made some small modifications to it.
Found a little jungle temple (3 floors), pretty empty except for a 3 lever puzzle opening to a secret passageway with 2 arrow dispenser traps triggered by tripwires. Small chest in the bottom with some random items (gold/seeds/wood).
I'm liking the 'large biome' feature... I've always felt the biomes were too small (and sometimes stupid, desert next to snow??)

Found a Desert Temple, if I hadnt seen the orange wool I'd never have found it, as it was partially buried in sand.

In other news, is there a use for Emeralds yet?
EDIT: NPC villager currency. 8 Emeralds = 1 Iron Sword is all ive found so far.
Also, check the NPC houses for chests. Found one with almost a full set of iron armor, some iron ingots, iron pickaxe, and an iron sword.
Found a Desert Temple that wasn't mostly buried. Unearthed what little was buried, here's some pics:

I'd imagine since they changed it so that you can make single player games visible on Local area networking, that it'd have to run, or at least simulate server operations.

Okay, I lie, but you can make epic barbed wire fences with them, and then link them to traps, or little beacons, so you know where intruders are coming from...

Lots of Gold Ingots, some Iron tools, Iron Sword, and 3 Diamonds in mine.
Any decent temp servers I can use out there till blackfrost is back up?

Well it would definately handle everything, probably more than we need right now but the gold level has no servers open. Its also cheaper than what you were paying before for about the same power isn't it?
Of course theres upsides and downsides of them handling all updates and plug-ins but we wern't running anything that was out of the ordanary at least.
As a side note Giga, when the server goes back up in 1.31 instead of heavily restricting the Everyone group, just set the default play mode to adventure, then they cant break any blocks but can explore, use items and eat so they can find a place to build at least while they wait for a mode change to survival. How does that sound?

Gold tier looks more appropriate for the amount of players, it says there are twenty slots open.

Minecraft is awesome. I like the server im on atm since I found a nice secluded spot... underwater cities are awesome :D (I always fear Im gonna log on griefed though lol)

lots of them esp since singleplayer in 1.31 is actually jsut 1 player multiplayer, but i dont know ecactly how to install it.
