guess rate down threads are more front page material.

I say the opposite make it viewable on their public profile how many +s and -s total their posts have accumulated to.

Add an automatic feature that instantly bans anyone who has a single post hit -50.

Let us see how long the forums last.

Oopsie.. I rated the OP up instead of down.

Most people do not care if they get rated down, I know anytime I get rated down I'm not shocked I had some feeling in me to write a post and usually expect a negative reaction as do most others. People who get flooded with rate downs all the time really do not care if anything they love it.

I think it's funny forums who ride karma systems hard as if they matter to people (like how Dasva joked about winning a prize people really act like they do win a prize) or they will add a comment about it in their signature (i realize there aren't sigs on these forums) :P

anyway I think positive rate up only encourage people to clique up and create these tag team pathetic buddy systems to get the highest possible scores. Usually when someone rates something down they truly disagree with it. People rate up buddies just cause they're buddies.

Well it gets ridiculous in some communities that act like rep points really matter: if anyone is familiar with gamebattles.com or bodybuilding.com off the top of my head both are communities people obsess with inflated "rep" points.

That's what makes me indifferent on the idea of having a total rep summary system in place that ffxiah.com lacks. I'm glad we don't have to deal with those people who think it's an accomplishment that they are "in the green"

You don't see that ***if you look at the AH when you are not signed in.
How is it not a feature already is what I'm wondering.

also I forget about the rating system until someone says something like "OH DEY AT IT AGAIN LOL LOOK AT ALL MY -1S" and then I -1 and dont post anything cause umad

yeah you could always get rid of it and replace the '-' with 'report'
