I have a Cactuar plushie and it's awesome. I wish moombas recurred.
I'd have to say Cactuar too, but that may partially be because I really can't think of many "recurring" monsters that are exclusive to Final Fantasy and not just every RPG game. There's like Moogles, Chocobos, and Cactuars, and that's it.
Tonberries, Ochu's, Malborros, Iron giants, Coeurls, Flans, Magic pots, Hecteyes, Bombs, Grenades, Cockatrice, Ahriman etc. The problem with this, is that even if they don't use the same name from RPG to RPG, there are still similar enemies in other games. You got me on Tonberry and magic pots, but hundreds of games have featured giant flying eyes, Beholders, and slimes, and animated bombs and writhing masses of tentacles as an enemy and giant living flowers, well I can go on but you get the point. name another game bold enough to have *** in their monster's name

I can do one better.
Well I can't argue with Behemoths, but I'd have to say Mind/Soulflayer types. Even though they've been in every RPG and a lot of non-RPGs and a lot of non-GAMES, if we're considering anything that has been in two or more FF games, definitely Soulflayers.

Btw there are also tons of graphic enhancements/model replacements available, can make the game look a lot better.
I used to be able to replace the movie files with rips the PSX versions which looked a lot better, but that required a replacement exe my own mod team made which breaks compatibility with everything else. Our main coder didn't have time for the project any longer so we never finished our big mod project. Hopefully someday Q-gears comes through and allows large scale game changes. Difference between Q-gears and what my group was doing is Q uses psx files with a PC executable and plans to let you make your own FF7-like game, and ours was pretty much a clone/replacement job that could read some of the PC files. So if it ever gets to a usable state, Q-gears will be a lot better.

yeah yeah i know: beat a dead horse.
but i came across something just a moment ago, something about Tetsuya Nomura revealing a top secret highly demanded title to be brought to light in 2011, i believe it was in a press conference in december. alot of people were speculating it was the final fantasy VII remake that millions of people were begging for, or for KH3. I personally dont know if it would be for KH3 since we kind of knew about it already thus fore go the "top secret". thoughts?
