but i came across something just a moment ago, something about Tetsuya Nomura revealing a top secret highly demanded title to be brought to light in 2011, i believe it was in a press conference in december. alot of people were speculating it was the final fantasy VII remake that millions of people were begging for, or for KH3. I personally dont know if it would be for KH3 since we kind of knew about it already thus fore go the "top secret". thoughts?

Since I saw the tech demo for PS3, I have wanted it so badly. :<
I for one would be leaning towards the remake of FF7. It's something most ppl have been waiting for. Although Kindom Hearts is a great series as well, but hasn't even come close to capturing the hearts like FF7 has. FF7 remake, sensational graphics and sharpened storyline.

An FF7 remake would never be able to please everyone, however if they did it right they could please most.
Especially if they gave the option for voice/text and other things before you start the game, that way people could enjoy it how they want, yes I do realize it would cost more to produce it that way.
edit: speaking of which I never finished my last play through, I still need to get a high score on the speed square, damn me and my perfectionism...

I was originally thinking they could make different versions, but with the capacity of blu-ray they could just throw it all in one version and give the options, I'd so get my ps3 fixed for that.

Everything is overrated.
FF7, 8, and X are my favorite ones, 9 I enjoyed but I like to be able to max stuff out, the other ones I just couldn't stay as invested with them, may be age, may be that 7 popped my FF cherry, who knows?
Haters gonna hate, and fans are going to be fans.
I'm not going to sit here and say that it was the best thing ever though, my favorites go into a collective, but choosing an absolute favorite is like trying to choose a favorite kid, you just can't do it.

I think the *** should focus less on remakes and focus more on the other damn games that they haven't come out with(Final Fantasy Versus XIII), because If 13-2 comes out before Versus some heads are gonna roll.

I'm one of "those" types. FF7 was my outro to the series. I didn't get a PS1 until long after PS2 had already been out, and I just wasn't a fan of the blocky polygons in 7. FF6 was my last hurrah before coming to FFXI.
That being said, a remake of 7 would be pretty neat, I'd definitely get it. My wife is a huge fan of 7, so I know she'd be all about it too.

That was honestly my biggest complaint. I was a much bigger fan of the 2-d sprite FF titles. That, combined with not owning a PS1 to even play the game and all. All my friends had it, and were always playing it when I would go hang out with them, so I've literally sat through the entire story of the game without ever picking up a controller. That's not a bad thing, necessarily.
