Propane leaves a funny after taste. I really really dont like it. Also if you don't pay close attention to it the fire could stutter and go out and then you would gas your meat, or just not cook it if you ran out of gas. Then if it is late at night or the weekend your SOL cause hey, can't get more gas!

Oh, forgot to mention, i am sure no one on here cares but i do and i just wanna spread the word since it always puts me in a good mood again. I will be returning to the United States after 2 years in Japan this June! I am re-enlisting in the military for another 5 years and i have orders to go back to Norfolk, Virginia for a new ship that is being built in the Newport News Shipyard!
On top of that, I am buying myself a brand new, fresh off the factory floor, built the way i want it built, Ford F-150 Super Cab!
5 more months and I will be back in the states living it up once again!

Wood i have to agree with. How ever, when it comes to the cooking of meats on the grill, i believe this to be a sacred thing and not to be taken lightly!

I lived in Newport News before. I know it sucks, but it beats being stationed in Bahrain for a few years, or having to stay here in Japan as those where my only two options........
PS: Living in japan is not as fun as you would think. Good place to visit, not awesome to live here

Japan is over priced, over crowded, and i *** hate the street system. I drive a vehicle that is only about 4 feet across and i still have to worry about scraping the wall as i maneuver around to allow two cars on a single street that on average is only 8 feet across, sometimes less!
Again, nice place to visit, not a cool place to live......
