Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
I'm loving the fact I do NOT have to get up for work in the morning.

Please go away, this isn't a political thread. there is a science behind it, you're the one who likes to ignore it... I wasn't the one who started bringing it up... Odin.Eikechi said: » Bismarck.Dracondria said: » This is a thread about everything There were many threads about this in other sections. I'd really care not to derail/turn RT into a flame war. It was civil before, with nobody making insults, until Jet now starting and throwing the ignorant term around. Just please don't encourage this >_<. It still is civil, and I'm not calling names. I'm sorry that you feel labeling willful ignoring of the facts as ignorance (by the way, that's what it is, by definition, there really isn't another way to say it). I'm sorry to burst your bubble, and I will stop. If there was a science to it, there would be a definite THIS IS HOW TO PARENT SO YOUR CHILD DOESN'T TURN INTO A SERIAL KILLER manual by now. Where can I pick that up? Oh I can't? Ya don't say... Valefor.Sehachan said: » Kawar must be the biggest troll ever. How I mine for fish? So STOP labeling people as ignorant, because it's a slanderous term. In this case there is no standard. You can claim to SEMI understand based on OTHER PEOPLE AND SOME TRENDS in behavior, but everybody is inherently different, so please stop your ***.
He's done Eike, I think.
It's always hard to refrain from having the last word in an argument.
Sorry, I didn't see his retort, until a lil after he posted, I was busy checking on dinner. I'll stop as well then.
I'm still ridiculously excited and hyped up over Itoi's recent tweet that hinted of one or more of the games in the Mother franchise will be "playable". Greatly insinuating that there is a re-release, or reboot on the horizon.
My treassssure.

It has ceased, me thinks.
Now, for the real battle to begin! Put it on Wii U, or something. Siren.Kalilla said: » Is the fighting over yet .-. Odin.Minefield said: » It has ceased, me thinks. Now, for the real battle to begin! Haha Just read this on a friends facebook and it made me laugh so much I had to share it!!!!
After handing in a job application form 6 MONTHS ago, I got a call from JJB sports this morning, regretting to inform me that they couldn't offer me a job because my name had been noted down as being barred from the store as I was, and I quote, "performing acrobatics on the escalators". I think I was about 11 when this happened, and I'd hardly call the classic escalator moonwalk acrobatic. Let it go JJBabes. ;) Bahamut.Genevie said: » Haha Just read this on a friends facebook and it made me laugh so much I had to share it!!!! However, regardless of how it is approached or whatever platform it shows up on, I am simply happy that the Mother series hasn't been completely forgotten, abandoned, or dropped off the face of the earth from the creators and affiliates that make it possible for the fanbase to enjoy it.
Sadly we more or less have two options: Pirate via emulator or dish out ridiculous cash for ebay copies. That's a really awesome pic *saves*

I'm like "in regards to downloading or buying a game used, there's no difference in profit by the copyright holder" so I really wish people would shove it. I never played Mother though, I'll look into it later though. I think I am almost 95% sure I might like to consider getting a pixie cut this year. I think! If I hate it, it will grow back. If I love it, it will have been worth the risk. And most of all, I want to do something brave. I've done practically nothing brave my entire life.
I think it will be this one, just the cut, not the color: ![]() I might have to get something to texturize it, my hair is very slippery. Or maybe it will look ok slippery. :D I cut my hair short once Liela, and enjoyed it, but in the end I just missed too much having long hair.
<3 hair reaching almost my butt right now. I'm growing my hair long again.I'm not enamoured with that 'pixie' cut.Looks like the lawnmower has been let loose on her head.
It's sad how great games of old have little to no means of reobtaining circulation and cash flow to the proper administrations that made it happen, whether its the publisher, owner of rights, or developers. All we have left is piracy and ebay hand-me-downs that cost a small fortune. Luckily Nintendo and Sony are digging through the archives and supporting some more notable titles for download, but at the rate they're going, we'll only ever see a fraction of the golden years when it comes to games. Lucky for us though, the fans are more tenacious with their efforts and more or less, everything available for all, for free ;D
Would be neat if games can become public domain similar to films and literature, but thanks to copyright laws, those timelines extend far beyond the death of the original author lol. |
