for the past couple of days my throat has been bothering me because it's felt like I've had a popcorn kernel stuck in my throat when there really wasn't. It'd go away after a while so I forget to pay attention to it.

somehow brought it up with my sister and I was all like "man, I wish I could see......" and then I realized I'm a mother@#$#@ing nurse and have flashlights and tongue depressors dangit....I've got some sort of infection..my throat is like oozing puss in one corner and now that I've seen it and know what Im swallowing..I'm really really grossed out in my own skin.

I can't call in to work right now because I'm supposed to be walking out the door but I wonder if they'll send me home because who knows what I got and I work in a hospital >.> ugg

one nurse asked me if she could borrow some of my hours last night..I think I'll give her a call and go to the doctor in the morning.
