PC problems! yay! not even 2 days lol... although I am beginning to think this might be something the guy did wrong... not sure :| still doing some research as it's not a constant issue (my PC will freeze up, then shut down on random occasions) Off the top f my head without more info, freezing and auto shut down sound like a heat issue.

1. Penn is very libertarian, I disagree with him on a few points but I can see why he thinks that way.
2. Catnip, no error messages? I'd also say heat but it's been covered, may be a driver issue, win7 again? what are your specs again?

Windows 7 Pro x64 GPU: GTX 560 Ti CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K did a memtest and had no problem (it was the windows memory diagnostic thing) Going to run a hard drive test when I restart in a bit, I'm starting to think it MAY be a driver issue but pinpointing it when I can't recreate the issue is hard, it's really hit or miss. does your bios have any hardware tests in it?
and indeed, intermittent issues are the hardest to track down... I was thinking of building a computer for my gf with that cpu, hmm. edit: about that gpu too I believe lol.. the whole thing (tower) will run just about $1000, I'll have to hunt her down a nice keyboard/mouse combo and some speakers, and idk what she wants to do for the monitor yet, we were thinking of a 27" Bismarck.Narshee said: » Question for Oblivion/Skyrim players.. I wanted to get someone who knows alot more to do it :p) I've got a G15 and a razer death adder and love them both (would love to upgrade kb though) and a decent set of logitech 5.1 speakers that only ran me about $100? the only thing I need to get now is a sound card so I can use it since this mobo does NOT have support for the 5.1 ;; If I can't figure this issue out on my own i'll have to take it to him to check out obviously (which is free at least) I'm going to tool around in the BIOS to see if I can find anything. (the motherboard is a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 if that helps any~) gah I really suck at this beastmaster thing...
