Everything has a taste.. Water does have a taste. If you can smell it, you can taste it... Water certainly does have a characteristic smell that you can easily identify, even clean water.

I get this too, people say water tastes like nothing but thats just them assigning the taste of nothing to the taste of water... it can vary in taste depending on where you are too.

I don't like water because it leaves my mouth feeling dry for some reason... Tea does it as well. My best guess is it somehow dilutes the spit that was lubricating my mouth... Why Beer/liquor/juice/soda doesn't do it I have no idea.

I will stick to drinking things that I actually enjoy drinking and working out in my comfortable tight clothing rather than spending every weekend leaning on a bar guzzling beer with one hand in my pocket convincing myself that a beer gut is the sign of a man.
