I really would love to work on a relic in xiv but i'm always unlucky in the sense that I would probably get in the LS with the douche leader that treats us like rat ***... or I would be last and the LS would break before mine :p

I would build one if my times didn't suck, I'm kinda in the middle of no where as far as that goes XD They aren't really like FFXI relics since as far as I can tell you can work on one for everyone at the same time.

I also want to get my ARC to at least 30 so I can do that next lol, I know that will probably be my next 50... just looks so fun :p

One thing I'ma bit dissapointed in with FF10 is Seymour and his reason for being all evil and everything is the generic excuse that life is suffering only in death can you know peace life is too hard the world is full of hatred etc so ending all life will bring about peace etc etc, that's been done to death (>.>) and there's no excuse for not coming up with something a little more creative.
The way I see it, it's been done to death for a reason. Not only does it work, it is almost agreeable for some people and makes you think a wee bit about your stance on the whole idea.
In a way it makes him look like a tiny bit less of a bad guy if you ask me.

It's become such a cliche though, yes standing on a philosophical pedestal and preaching morals does make you think, but I've been made to think many, many times already that I just let out a big /sigh now every time I hear it. It's even the same words and sentences being spoken every time. These villains are supposed to be evil genius', surely they can give them something a bit more interesting :/
I think of it this way, things become cliche for a reason. They work, time and time again. Sure, after a certain point one generation will play a million games and see the same thing over and over again and become bored of it. However, these developers also have multiple other generations they likely want to appeal to and some of them likely have not seen the cliche and thus to them it is not cliche.
As much as I hate to say it, game developers will latch onto anything that works and go with it as long as they can. Because that is a sure fire way for them to acquire money, in most cases.
I guess it's no different from movies or books with the classic good vs evil plot lines or the cliche saving the world type characters. I just expected something a little more from Seymour as he never seemed to give a toss about the suffering of anybody else, it doesn't fit his character at all.

Hes just kinda insane, you may or may not get to see what drove him to it but I wont say more.

Players can create a Summoner or a Guardian.
Summoners would be very weak physically, and would require grouping up with Guardians to accomplish goals. Guardians could branch out into various job archetypes, like how they are in FFX (Tidus is quick, Lulu is a caster, Wakka hit "flyers" lol). Summoners of course would obtain new summons as each Fayth is visited during the main questline, and each one would provide up to 2-3 various buffs to the group while summoned.
Just little details would need ironed out, but thats the gist of it, what popped in my head anyway.

It does if you don't get enough balloons, and need a time of 0 if I remember right to get one of the ultimate weapons unlocked.
